How do I assemble this box

–Vikki 6/6/2017 5:06:57 PM

Hi, Vikki! I recommend reading the Moving Insider article, "The Right Way to Assemble a Moving Box." It's a great guide with written and visual directions on how to properly assemble a box. I hope it's helpful!

What does UHaul recommend for queen size bed headboards/brass?

–Robert J. 9/30/2017 7:44:20 AM

Hi, Robert! It really depends on the size of the headboard. We recommend measuring the headboard and purchasing a box that has large enough dimensions to fit the headboard. We also recommend padding the headboard with some sort of protective packing supply such as packing paper to ensure the headboard does not get damaged or shifts while being moved in the box. I hope that is helpful!

Is this box strong enough to hold and ship a one piece desk top (desk top is built in one piece w/three drawers) with four legs?

–LouB 12/4/2017 2:33:33 PM

Hello! This depends entirely on the dimensions and weight of the desk. We recommend laying the desk out as you would put it in the box (disassembled) and measure the dimensions to ensure it will fit in this box (less than or equal to 41-1/2” x 38-1/2” x 15-3/4”). Also, keep in mind that this box cannot handle more than 65 pounds. Thank you!
