When applying brakes we get a digital readout on our brake contro. When I let off the break the numbers on the Brake control doesn't go to zero and the trailer brakes remain on is this an issue with the brake control or something else?

Our hitch pro writes: When depressing the brake pedal or sliding the manual activation lever, the 13512 brake control LED display should increase from approximately 05 to 99, release the the applied brake and the LED should return to decimal points. Your issue could be either a brake switch or brake control unit malfunction. Please contact your local U-Haul center and schedule an appointment with the hitch professional who can quickly identify and repair your brake control issue.
