The passenger door would not open from either side. Passenger had to climb in the drivers side. Water leaked from somewhere and got the bed cover wet and some cardboard boxes were wet on the bottom. Truck came with 3/8 of a tank of gas. I returned it with more then a half. It was hard to gauge how much gas to put in for the trip.

Repeatedly this location did not have the equipment I reserved ready for me as scheduled. Employees there require the customer to do all of the hook-ups and disconnects.

The UHaul website is really slow...the office did a great job but yesterday and in the past the Uhaul website had issues which made the process too long waiting for the website to work. That is an issue that Uhaul needs to fix so their site reps don't have to keep the customer waiting so long.

When I got in to the truck I immediately looked at the mileage gauge. It was digital and read 309.6 mi. I knew this was the trip meter rather than the odometer. I could not figure out how to clear the meter nor get back to the odometer. There was no button I could find to do that. So I had to go on the trip meter. When I returned the truck the trip meter read 345.3. So I went 36 miles which is right in my mind and the person with me. I went into the office and told the lady that I had used the trip meter as I couldn't figure out the odometer. She went out and read the trip meter at the 345.3 and started punching this and that to figure out how to get it back to the odometer. She didn't know how either. Finally she hit a button that changed it. So she took the reading of the odometer. When we went in side and she used the numbers off the last trip and subtracted the mileage from my trip, it said I had gone 57mi's. I told her I hadn't and that was close to twice as much as I actually went. She charged me for it anyhow. I am very upset by this. I know I will never use that business again and probably will go with Budget from now on. I am on a fixed income and don't like to be taken advantage of. I don't lie and this is like a slap in the face to have to pay for someone fudging on the odometer. And that is the only reason I can think that this would happen. Someone either forgot to take down mileage at some point or an employee possibly used the truck and that's how the mileage landed in my lap, I DON"T KNOW. But I'm pretty upset over it. So is my witness. So I really don't think I will use UHAUL again. If you have any further questions I would be glad to hear them. 360-223-4805

In Ferndale WA getting gas, truck would not start for 10 minutes. It keep clicking, like the starter was not working. This was creating a panic, since it took 10 hours to load. It finally started and we arrived at Lakewood WA, 2-1/2 hours later and the U-Haul was around the corner in case it did not start up again.

Again in returning the truck your dispatch gave me locations that were either way out of the way or in Canada instead of a Franchise that was just down the road from us . We decided to drop it off at the Franchise instead. They were great!

The rental process took a long time because the folks in front of me the first time wanted to talk. The first truck wouldn't start. I had to go back in, wait for another customer, and then wait for the agent to finish talking on phone with another customer.

Make that what the customer requested was actually the one reserved and there but they were nice enough to substitute a bigger one for same price
