Clean and easy to operate moving van with fuel and mileage perfectly recorded. 4. Easy open door and ramp with a hand truck included. 5. Easy return (“park.and drop the keys in the drop box”) 6. Emailed receipt with exactly the agreed upon price. Why can’t all business contacts be as excellent as U-HAUL.

They ALLOWED ME 60 miles and I used 14 so hoping I will get at least $40 credited back. They already charged my card for the whole thing ...
MARGARET NAfter a desasterous uhaul experience last spring...trying to rent a tow dolly. Also had a great experience with Lynden where they install flat tow equipment on my jeep.

Robert hI returned to wrong location, she called and got it transferred so we didn’t have to go somewhere else. We couldn’t get the trailer off the ball hitch. She said that it needed to be oiled (not done by pickup location). When I commented that I didn’t think the chains were supposed to be twisted, she said pickup location shouldn’t have done that. She was very helpful and polite.

Russell DThe process was all very easy and I will always be a uhaul supporter and recommend them to friends. However, I do recommend that if you rent a truck or van that you ask if you need to open the email they send you when they print out the receipt. I did not open mine before leaving the loy and when I did it stated that the link had expired. I do believe that email would have made my after hours drop off a bit easier. Though it is worth stating I only rented a truck for a 15 mile round trip.
Amanda LMy interaction with employee was great, very nice person. I reserved 9' Cargo van online and when I got the vehicle it was smaller, I was told it was the same. It's not. Luckily I was unable to take a piece of furniture, because it would have not fit in this van. Honestly I was irritated because I reserved the Cargo Van, I used this model last move with a different Uhaul site and this site I was given a different vehicle which was smaller. It was guaranteed online that I would have that Cargo Van at this locationin Birch Bay........No. The cabin seats were covered in pet hair. I did notify gal at the desk I have my ESA canine and brought a cover for him to sit on to prevent shed. But the seats were covered in white hair, especially on the passenger seat. I like hand written documents on vehicle review, for any dents ot dings prior to drive. The online site shut down and I wasn't able to fill it out. Sadly I will not use this site again and I hope they will stand by their guaranteed service about reserved vehicles online.
Kate AFirst off, the truck I wanted wasn't available at the location closest to me. I could go pick it up in the next town but my total mileage I needed for the truck was under 10 miles and a round trip to pick up at the other location was approximately 26 miles. So I wasn't doing that.

Richard WI reserved a 10' truck. Spoke with employee days before for verbal confirmation. Arrived and no truck had to take a cargo van. It was not the cleanest. Smelled faintly of vomit. And passenger seat was covered in dog hair. It also took no less than 20 minutes to check out. The employee helping us was very nice and apologetic and gave us a few free used boxes. Computer system was acting up, and check out took so long, we were given an extra hour for rental. The van ran great and ac was a relief on very hot day. Even if you call and reserve a specific truck, you still might not get it.

Thomas HBirch Bay Storage did a great job. Easy to work with, and actually helped relieve the stress of the day by offering us alternative solutions. My big issue is the U-Haul reservation system. I live in Ferndale, WA, and had to move household items to a location that was 6 miles away. I booked to rent a truck in Ferndale. Once I completed online check-in, U-Haul reserved a truck for me in Burglington which is 40 miles away. I had very little time to do anything about this and ended up having to drive to Burlington to solve the problem. The operator in Burlington was incredibly helpful and helped me find a closer location so I wouldn't have to pay for the ridiculous amount of mileage, that location was birch bay storage. So after driving 95 miles to finally find a solution I was very unimpressed by the U-Haul system. The people I interacted with were great and my praise for them is well earned, but the total experience was stressful, frustrating and costly. Even this survey itself is a clue to the problem. Why are you asking about the location only? Birch Bay Storage was not the problem.
