I only drove the truck 10 miles and when filling the gas tank it did not automatically stop. I ended up putting $10 of gas when I only needed to put $2-3. It was a purposeful ripoff. I tried to explain what happened to the associate working and he was of no help whatsoever. will not use U Haul again.

I was pleased with the customer service at this location, professional and attentive to your needs. However, the truck that I rented was very dirty inside, and found some cigar wraps that explained the strong order of tabacco. Apart from that small detail everything about the rental was great.

The site manager (person in the office) was most informative and to the point about the rental. Your equiptment was clean & in top of the line condition. This not the case at many of the other stores that I have encountered. The only suggestion I have is that when working with a customer that transaction should be completed and the customer processed out without delay or asking that customer to wait to complete another sale. Noting that it was not a problem with my having to wait however the circumstance could create a problem with a customer. Circumstance: There was a customer @ the desk getting infomormation on renting a truck. My party & driver were 2nd in line after this customer. A 3rd customer came in to buy some boxes. After waiting a good 12-15 minutes of so; I was ask to wait until this 3rd person was served; because he had purchases. It was noted that I wanted to buy 10 boxes and some tape. The site manager/agent went forward with my purchase and still ask me to wait until to check in the truck I rented. It was not a problem for me becasue I was not pushed for the time; however, it is better, in my opinion, to complete a customer's transaction in the standing order of their place in line.
The young man was so very helpful and informative until the push back on completing my check out was OK (for me at the moment). Good idea to take care of each customer as to their time in line comes to be addressed.
Your facility is excellent and my experience was GOOD.
Thank you & hats off to your site manager/sales person.

The website could be not informative as to the renting process/ what to expect once you're there, in the store. I needed to pay cash and the employee who helped me was very helpful in that, but the website didn't even tell me that was an option.

First it was the response from the manager that she was clearly ready to get off the phone. The attendant at front was annoyed by the fact I just said hello. He looked at me and said, "yeah" No concern or worry about what I had to say. He went so quick that i had to ask him to repeat. to make matters worse it made him upset. So upset that he started questioning my partner at the time that was not even involved in my moving process. Pointed to the left side of the building where I thought everything was at and he immediately left back inside his building. So, I was basically left outside to figure things out on how to go in the parking and vehicle.
Last, when I brought the vehicle back I was so amazed on how he reacted. Immediately asked for the keys and my partner sid can you please hold on while she unloads two boxes. He then paused and realized he was being very agressive about the whole situation.

This was very fast, easy and affordable. Check out didn't take very long and the manager tried to find us the best plan for our needs. Checking the vehicle back in only took a few minutes - super fast, super easy.
The 2420 Louisiana location offered a great customer experience.
