Previous customer did not sweep out the cargo van of sawdust. I volunteered to do so since it was quite busy inside and I was hauling beds that I did not want to get sawdust all over. In the locations defense, the van was turned in late and it was quite busy that morning as I got there shortly after they opened. The downside of drop offs after hours. However, the convenience of being able to do so is worth it. This is one of the best U Haul locations around.

Let your customers know when they’re reserving the truck online that if they reserved for the 4 hours time period that Uhaul recommends, that the customer is bound by that and cannot keep the truck longer because Uhaul will rent out the truck to someone else right after you. Essentially Uhaul is making double of what they charged you for the entire day but yet you only can you get to keep the truck for four hours. And Uhaul does not offer any discounts for partial days. This is not good customer service.

fix bugs in online reservation. i reserved a truck from 18th street location for sunday but it was only available at washingtown ave on saturday. i then got calls from multiple people trying to fix this.

I have been overcharged for my rental, due to being charged gas. The employee working at this U-Haul location incorrectly read the gas gauge prior to me picking up the truck but conveniently read it correctly upon return. I was told to return the truck with the same amount of gas it had when I picked it up. I did more than that, and yet was still charged an additional fee for gas. I've reported this issue to U-Haul and have yet to hear anything back.

Tried to claim that I didn't return 2 dollies and said I'd have to file claims with uhaul. Told them I had video proof of the return. I suggested they looked at the wrong truck. They then realized they had and found the dollies. They also charged for gas, when I had made sure it was the same level. When I called to dispute, they were very argumentative and said I'd have to get refunds from uhaul customer service. I called uhaul and they said that is wrong. This location is terrible to deal with!

I literally called to schedule this because i was scheduling a pick up for one of my employess (a smooth pick up on a Sunday wouldve been expected) - Ofcourse, he gets there and its CLOSED! delaying this trip to Dallas (4hrs drive) . I was very disppointed. I had to be on the phone on a sunday and made him go out of his way to pick up at a diferent location due to this inconvenience.

Brand new cargo van, so it was clean and drove well. It was bigger than I thought it would be, so there was plenty of room to spare inside. I wish they would have helped me adjust the mirrors before I left, but other than that, everything was fine.

I was given the piece of paper and I had to do the inspection myself while writing down on that paper (without having any idea what to write etc). It would have been way better if we did the inspection together with the U-Haul employee (similar to the rental cars) where he would keep the notes.

Pricing advertised is misleading. U-haul advertises 19.95 truck rental but I ended up paying about $75. The advertised price should at least include the $10 insurance and estimated taxes (more like $39.95) AND the ads should note that customers have to pay for gas AND mileage. The online registration indicated I'd pay about $40.

I know I read everything, but I was flustered when I could not figure out wether or not I need to fill the tank to the moving truck. Inside the truck stated that I would know based on the agreement I signed to rent the truck, but no where did it say I needed to fill the truck back to where it started from. I did everything through the app thinking it was be easier but it seemed it wasn’t the best option.

We had checked in online but none of that information was available to the uhaul rep when we picked up the van. Also, the cab of the van had a funky smell that was pretty unpleasant.
