The guy here whose name escapes me was awesome! We had a problem with the Tire UHaul in Gilroy not honoring a reservation made 10 days in advance because they decided to let someone else keep the truck. We had a timeline and move to LA scheduled. Called U-Haul and they found a truck at Burkes last moment and the guy had it all set to go in an hour and we were able to keep our schedule. Highly recommend Burkes Upholstery and would tell others to be very wary of Gilroy one not honoring reservation. He told me he hadn't called me so reservation made over phone with U-Haul wasn't valid. Say what?!
Nothing, Randy provided the best and highest level of customer service to ensure a customer in need was fully satisfied. He surely sets the standard for any location.
Prompt service, no wait, truck was clean and in good condition. Good experience and friendly service.
The Customer Rep at this location was very rude and unprofessional. I request to speak to the Area Manager.

Don't allow on-line reservations of vehicles you don't have, thus making your customers travel farther.
I requested a 26' truck, but got a 20' truck in a city located 15 miles away (not convenient and I had to pay for the extra mileage). When I picked up the truck, I wasn't informed that I was getting a 20' truck and only noticed it once I began loading the truck -- again, this cost me extra in mileage/fuel costs due to an extra trip required by the smaller truck.
Hard to reach. Equipment was picked up, drove it to my home--about 4 mils away and then was never used. Returned and was charged 120 dollars
Brought truck back a day early and was still charged for 2 days. Tried calling to see if I would get a day less on rate and no one answered either time between 1030 and 11. Had I known I would be charged for both days I would if continued to use as I finished with my car
Good experience. Only suggestion would be to open a little earlier in the morning.
I was incorrectly charged for an extra day. I returned the equipment on Saturday night, several hours before the deadline of 12:00pm on Sunday. When I called the representative on the other line did say he would issue a credit, however, I will have to wait several days for my credit card company to process this.
Clean truck, friendly service, great overall experience
THE LOCATION WAS GOOD. THE U-HALL PRICE WAS TOO EXPENSIVE FOR TWO DAYS.
It was a very smooth transaction and the owner is very nice and mello. He helped ease the stress of the move. I've used this location twice and both times were an easy, enjoyable experience. Thanks, to the owner.
