Vehicle was poorly maintained, it was dirty, there appeared to be a leak when rainy, dolly in rear was not fastened properly and was constantly moving in rear trunk. Gas was only around 30 miles left till empty. Engine check light was also on.

Larry LLocation was not manned. It was hard to find and the keys to my assigned rental truck was mixed up and switched to another truck.
Eiichi JI rented a u-haul a few days prior to the day we needed it for moving. My pick up was booked for 11:30 am, I arrived within the pick up window for the reservation but I shortly realized the truck that I rented was not on the lot. I double checked my email and I had missed an email stating my reservation had been moved and I could still check in. I still didn’t see the truck on site so I went into the office/trailer to Check what vehicle my reservation was updated to use as the time had changed also and was advised that they had no additional vehicles available for rent until the following day. I proceeded to leave and was stopped by a manager (older gentleman) who asked if I “got the help I needed”. Once I explained my situation he told me that I should be able to rent the van that was currently in the lot but the worker who was inside came out and said it wasn’t available and they were having issues that day with overbooking. I called in to customer service who advise that NO WHERE ON ISLAND had available rentals until the next day. I rescheduled our movers (after paying additional fees) and moved our schedule around only to show up at my THIRD reserved time for a vehicle and again there was no vehicle for us to rent. After lots of back and fourth with customer service and the on site rep it was reported that whatever customer had the van before us was running late but should be back (rep said about 15-20 minutes). The driver did not show up until almost 50 minutes after the start of our reservation. I did receive a credit for the issues which happened day 1, however we were also promised an additional credit the next day due to the vehicle not being returned on time (we are now 4 weeks past and I’m still waiting on my additional credit back). Never again
Kamella CShowed up at location and door was locked, called number but no one answered the first few times. Waited over 40min to get the uhaul which only had 4 moving blankets. Returned the uhaul and still never got a receipt for the over estimated mileage
