Brian Marsh Offers Expert Repairs, U-Haul in Upstate New York

STITTVILLE, N.Y. (April 3, 2015) – Brian Marsh, sole proprietor of Marsh’s AG and General Repair, has grand future plans. By the same token, he is pleased with how his business is currently performing.

And, as of now, that business features U-Haul moving products and equipment.

“We want U-Haul to do good and we want to do good with U-Haul,” Marsh said.

Marsh’s AG and General Repair at 8982 State Route 364 has a prime upstate location along a main road that pulls in customers. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.

Marsh’s AG and General Repair offers U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items, in-store pick-up for boxes and after-hours drop-off. Reserve U-Haul products here by visiting http://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Stittville-NY or calling (315) 865-8722 today.

Marsh has a loyal client base which he hopes to grow through advertising. He has 35 years of experience in the automotive repair industry having previously held jobs as a mechanic, service advisor and service manager.

Marsh’s background also includes working with farm equipment.

“Growing up on a farm (in Marcy, N.Y.), you learn to do everything,” he said. Marsh’s wealth of knowledge in every aspect of automotive repair makes his business a one-stop service shop.

Marsh employs his three sons to handle some of the smaller tasks. In the summer months, he teaches his two younger sons how to wash, wax and clean cars.

Brandon, the oldest son at 19, takes on a larger role and helps manage the U-Haul rentals. While Brian is involved with the mechanical aspects, such as prepping the trucks and hitching trailers, Brandon works with the customers.

“(Brandon) wants a paycheck, but I think that really he should be paying me for teaching him these skills!” the elder Marsh joked.

Since childhood, Marsh has maintained a passion for tinkering with machinery. He finds joy in the work he does at the shop, fixing up his father’s old tractors and repairing snowmobiles.

“I have a dream that I would restore my first car (a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda) with my sons,” Marsh said. “I have three cars and three sons. So what does that tell you?”

Marsh intends to add a U-Haul storage facility to his property in the future. That extra income would go back into Marsh’s AG and General Repair and allow expansion into other areas of automotive service, such as detailing.

U-Haul and Marsh’s AG and General Repair are striving to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives. Truck sharing is a core U-Haul sustainability business practice that allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks that is larger than what they could access on an individual basis.

Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road. Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.

Marsh’s AG and General Repair is a great place to become U-Haul Famous. Take your picture in front of a U-Haul product, send it in and your face could land on the side of a U-Haul truck.
