Andy Sciortino Appointed MCP of UHC of North Central New York

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (Jan. 16, 2017) — Andy Sciortino has been named marketing company president of 873, U-Haul of North Central New York.

U-Haul Area District Vice President Levi Parmerter and Executive Vice President Chuck Hertzler made the announcement. Sciortino assumed his new role on Jan. 13.

“I look forward to leading this already strong team here in 873 to new heights,” Sciortino said. “We will do this by focusing on excellent customer service, leading to increased transactions, profits and continued growth.”

Sciortino spent the last three years as a shop manager at Buffalo RERS. He was an area field manager for UHC of Western New York from 2006 to 2013 and, prior to that, was a parts foreman at Buffalo RERS. Sciortino began his U-Haul tenure in 2003 as a parts specialist at Rochester SRU.

“He is committed to our primary service objective,” Parmerter said. “Andy is a proven and effective leader who manages by establishing high standards for our U-Haul programs and equipment. He insists on implementing productivity enhancing techniques to increase his team’s success.”
