Autopro of Nashville Owner Brings U-Haul to "Different Dealership"

BRENTWOOD, TENN. (April 27, 2015) – Opening Autopro of Nashville in 2009 gave Wade Sandrell a chance to take everything he learned over the years and start something great.

“I wanted to create a different kind of dealership that was connected to the community,” Sandrell said. “It’s more of a laid-back environment.”

Sandrell’s latest connection to the community was bringing U-Haul to 1610 Franklin Road.

Autopro of Nashville, one of the newest members of the U-Haul neighborhood dealer network, is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday and offers after-hours drop-off of U-Haul equipment.

Autopro of Nashville is a full-service, pre-owned dealership and custom accessory installation center with 10 employees on three acres where the back lot used to be a nursery. Its convenient Franklin Road location has attracted customers from Brentwood, Franklin, Nashville and other cities throughout the Midstate.

Sandrell said that partnering with U-Haul offered another way to keep Autopro of Nashville up to date and able to accommodate every customer’s transportation and moving needs.

“We were looking for another way to service our customers,” Sandrell said.

Sandrell’s love for cars and work ethic stems from his father, Carl “Pee Wee” Sandrell, who has 60-plus years of experience in the industry. Carl Sandrell introduced Wade to the business at a young age and made it clear that treating people the right way is the most important aspect.

Before Wade Sandrell opened Autopro of Nashville, he started and oversaw multiple businesses and even served as the Vice President of Enrollment at Lipscomb University.

U-Haul and Autopro of Nashville are striving to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives. Truck sharing is a core U-Haul sustainability business practice that allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks that is larger than what they could access on an individual basis.

Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road. Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.

Autopro of Nashville is a great place to become U-Haul Famous. Take your picture in front of a U-Haul product, send it in and your face could land on the side of a U-Haul truck. Upload your photo through Instagram using #uhaulfamous, or go to www.uhaulfamous.com to submit photos and learn more.
