Box n Go Storage Follows U-Haul Blueprint for Customer Convenience
COMMERCE, CALIF. (April 13, 2015) – Box n Go Storage was the brainchild of Michael Bernstein, Stan Trakhtenberg, and Stan Krakovsky when the college buddies joined forces eight years ago to start a new company.
Box n Go Storage at 7265 E. Slauson Ave. recently supplemented its 1,500-unit facility with rental equipment from the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage.
“The U-Haul brand is unbelievable,” Bernstein said. “Joe (Shoen) truly is a hero to us. He runs a great company and people love it.”
Shoen, President and Board Chairman of Amerco, the parent company of U-Haul, has lifted the self-moving giant to new heights by meeting the growing demands of more customers.
The U-Haul dealer network, which now includes Box n Go Storage, serves as a lifeline for reaching those customers. Box n Go Storage offers U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items and in-store pickup for boxes.
Box n Go Storage is open 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Reserve U-Haul products here by visiting http://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Commerce-CA or calling (877) 269-6467 today.
Storage facilities typically partner with U-Haul since trucks are frequently used to transfer items to and from storage containers. But a storage business wasn’t always in the cards for Bernstein, Trakhtenberg and Krakovsky.
The trio met at Cal State-Northridge and remained close after graduation. Bernstein ended up working in the auditing department for an accounting firm while Trakhtenberg and Krakovsky went into engineering. After years of enduring the daily grind, the friends were searching for something else.
“It still puzzles me sometimes how the three of us became business owners,” Bernstein said. “Joking aside, knowledge has always been our vision. Having an understanding of finance and engineering has really lead Box n Go Storage in the right direction.”
Unlike many storage facilities, Box n Go Storage actually delivers the storage container to the customer. When the customer has packed his or her belongings, a Box n Go Storage truck will take the container to a new home – locally or across the country – and can even store the units indoors in a high-security warehouse.
“U-Haul is all about convenience,” Bernstein said. “I think we encompass that same convenience here at Box n Go Storage.”
U-Haul and Box n Go Storage are striving to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives. Truck sharing is a core U-Haul sustainability business practice that allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks that is larger than what they could access on an individual basis.
Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road. Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.
Conveniently located off the Santa Ana Freeway, Box n Go Storage is a great place to become U-Haul Famous. Take your picture in front of a U-Haul product, send it in and your face could land on the side of a U-Haul truck.
