Cory Hall Promoted to MCP of UHC of NW Ohio

TOLEDO, Ohio (Nov. 13, 2018) — Cory Hall has been named marketing company president of UHC of NW Ohio (Co. 765).

Executive Vice President Frank D’Abarno Jr. and Area District Vice President Bill Rains made the announcement.

“I have big plans for 765,” Hall said. “I plan to add new locations and get everyone motivated to fill these new self-storage rooms. Working as an owners representative for much of the past few years provided me knowledge I couldn’t have received anywhere else.

“Coming fresh off the front lines, I feel I am ready to hit the ground and get right back to work – keeping our PSO in mind while helping everyone around me succeed. I have a great team in 765 with many talented and experienced Team Members.”

Hall started his new position on Sept. 24.

Hall’s tenure with U-Haul began in 2010 as a customer service representative. He quickly moved into the role of a hitch professional, and after one year was promoted to general manager of U-Haul Moving & Storage of Elyria (766029) in Ohio.

In 2016, Hall became an owners rep and oversaw the building of U-Haul Self-Storage of Parma (766071). He went on to handle the general manager duties at the Clark Avenue store in Cleveland (766053) before returning to his owners rep role to manage projects in North Randall (766072) and Bedford (766073).

“This is an exciting time for U-Haul,” Hall added. “When I first started, we had 10 stores in MCO 766 in Cleveland. In the last three years, we added three locations and about 2,500 self-storage rooms. I owe my success at U-Haul to the strong leadership I have had in District 7 under Bill Rains and previously in District 10 under Frank D’Abarno.”

Rains noted: “Cory has distinguished himself as a goal-oriented manager with the self-motivation to match. Cory has brought organization and personnel development to the U-Haul facilities that he has overseen. I am confident that he will apply the same qualities to his new role as the president in Toledo.”
