Former Marine and Wife Bring Brains, U-Haul to B&F Real Estate
DUNCANVILLE, TEXAS (May 8, 2015) – Dennis and Emily Brock are adept at recognizing a good investment when they see one.
Dennis, a former Marine, is an economist; Emily is a mathematician. Recently, their business and financial senses told them to join the extensive U-Haul dealer network.
B&F Real Estate Investments LLC at 1106 S. Main St. in Duncanville, 13 miles southwest of Dallas, offers U-Haul trucks, towing equipment, support rental items and in-store pick-up for boxes.
Reserve U-Haul equipment here to meet your needs during the busy summer moving season by visiting http://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Duncanville-TX or calling (972) 996-7896. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday; and 8 a.m.-noon Saturday.
The Brocks own B&F Real Estate and an investment advising business. Investments began to interest Dennis when he was a teenager. He started watching the inner workings of economics when his parents opened his first brokerage account for him.
“I began to see how the economy fluctuates up and down and how personal investments and stocks change in result,” he said.
Dennis continued his studies with a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington. The opportunity to study came when he was stationed at the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve near Dallas. In four years of service as a Marine, Dennis moved between the Carolinas, San Diego and Okinawa, Japan.
Emily holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas, and both husband and wife teach their respective subjects at Mountain View Community College. Emily also home schools her 12-year-old son, who inherited a mind like his parents.
“When he was four and someone asked his age, he would say he was half of half of 16,” Dennis said.
U-Haul and B&F Real Estate are striving to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives. Truck sharing is a core U-Haul sustainability business practice that allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks that is larger than what they could access on an individual basis.
Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road. Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.
B&F Real Estate is a great place to become U-Haul Famous. Take your picture in front of a U-Haul product, send it in and your face could land on the side of a U-Haul truck. Upload your photo through Instagram using #uhaulfamous, or go to www.uhaulfamous.com to submit photos and learn more.
