Growing Regina: U-Haul Reveals Plans for New Company Store by 2025
REGINA, Sask. (April 14, 2023) — U-Haul® is unveiling plans for a state-of-the-art retail, moving and self-storage facility at an undeveloped site at 4500 Victoria Ave. East in Regina.
U-Haul Moving & Storage of Victoria Ave. East is expected to be partially operational by summer 2024 and fully completed by the start 2025. Preliminary plans call for the creation of a modern self-storage building with indoor climate-controlled self-storage lockers and a separate warehouse for U-Box® portable moving and storage containers.
Customers will also have access to U-Haul truck and trailer sharing, moving supplies and boxes, towing equipment, professional hitch installation, propane and much more. U-Haul acquired the 8.04-acre property on March 15.

“This particular property is perfect for U-Haul because we will be able to serve Emerald Park, Pilot Butte, and the eastern Regina community from a convenient location,” said Ryan Pearson, U-Haul Company of Central Canada president.
“Being located on Victoria Avenue is important because it’s one of the main east-west streets in Regina and connects to the Trans-Canada Highway, giving our DIY moving customers direct access to all 10 Canadian provinces.”
This will be the fourth U-Haul-owned and -operated store in Saskatchewan.
“We’ve been looking at properties in Vic East for many years and are excited to work with our neighbors and city officials to create a retail, moving, and self-storage facility that works for everyone,” Pearson added. “We want to thank the City of Regina for their continued support.”
