“U-Haul was founded by a Navy veteran and his wife on the principal of service.  No one understands service more than the men and women who protect our freedom,” said Stuart Shoen, executive vice president of U-Haul.  “Soldier Ride is a small way that U-Haul can show our gratitude for this tremendous sacrifice.”

“Our mission is to honor and empower Wounded Warriors and we enjoy doing that side-by-side with U-Haul ever year at Soldier Ride Phoenix,” said Steve Nardizzi, chief executive officer for Wounded Warrior Project.  “As one of the founding partners for Wounded Warrior Project, U-Haul Company’s deep military roots and passion for serving injured service members is matched by the compassion with which they offer support, and for that we are proud to call them a partner.”
