Hiram Food & Fuel Attracts Locals, Atlanta Commuters with U-Haul
HIRAM, GA. (May 8, 2015) – From working in gas stations to owning his own, Anil Patel has made a name for himself.
When a friend in upstate Georgia successfully infused a U-Haul® neighborhood dealership with his business, Patel decided to follow suit. Hiram Food & Fuel now offers U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items and much more.
Hiram Food & Fuel, located at 4120 Jimmy Lee Smith Pkwy., is open for U-Haul rentals from 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday-Friday; 7 a.m.-noon Saturday; and 8 a.m.-10:30 p.m. Sunday. After-hours drop-off is available for equipment.
Patel has been operating Hiram Food & Fuel for more than seven years, so he’s become a fixture in the Hiram community.
“We know most people by name,” Patel said. “The only people we don’t recognize are heading through town on their way to Atlanta.”
Just 26 miles northwest of Atlanta and a short drive to Interstate 20, Hiram Food & Fuel offers a great location for U-Haul rentals along Highway 278. Customers can hook up a U-Haul trailer, fill up for gas and grab a snack in one stop.
