Motocross, Music and U-Haul are Methods of Ministry at Chronic Cycles
LEXINGTON, N.C. (April 15, 2015) – Faith is everything to Wayne Simerson, Chronic Cycles owner and a new U-Haul neighborhood dealer.
“There are two things God has put together for me: motocross and music,” Simerson said. “He blesses us tremendously by opening doors for us, and we thank Him by beginning each day with prayer. So far, He has taken us on a good ride.”
Simerson’s passion comes with two wheels, but he now offers Lexington four-wheeled rental equipment in the form of U-Haul® trucks and trailers.
Chronic Cycles at 5103 S. NC Hwy. 150 is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. U-Haul customers can make use of the after-hours drop box as well.

Bike racing and repair is in Simerson’s blood. Gary, his father, introduced him to motocross at age 4. Wayne, Gary and Gary’s father opened Chronic Cycles together in 2003.
Chronic Cycles focuses on off-road vehicles, but services street bikes, racing and motocross bikes, ATVs, motorcycles and automobiles. Auto and bike repairs are made easy with access to 500,000 parts.
For Simerson, biking is not just a business and a hobby. It is a ministry. “It is a way to live your life and let that reflect Jesus,” Simerson said.
Simerson’s other hobby is music. He plays guitar in the metal and rock band Joe Christian.
“I started playing when I was 15,” Simerson said. “I broke my back in a motocross accident, and I needed to find another passion.” This accident wasn't a set-back, it was just another door that God opened for Simerson.
Simerson and the Chronic Cycles team help organize and participate in an annual car and bike fundraiser show for teachers at Stoner-Thomas School, a special-needs school in Davidson County. Simerson is invested in ministering to Stoner-Thomas since one of his four children attends there.

U-Haul and Chronic Cycles are striving to benefit the environment through sustainability initiatives. Truck sharing is a core U-Haul sustainability business practice that allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks that is larger than what they could access on an individual basis.
Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road. Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.
Chronic Cycles is a great place to become U-Haul Famous. Take your picture in front of a U-Haul product, send it in and your face could land on the side of a U-Haul truck. Upload your photo through Instagram using #uhaulfamous, or go to www.uhaulfamous.com to submit photos and learn more.
