Ray’s Auto Sales is about 10 miles south of Fort Knox, so U-Haul trailers have helped move military families from all over the country.
“We have military families moving on and off the base all year long,” explained Lydia Boone, office manager at Ray’s Auto Sales. “It’s nice to give them a convenient location to take care of their moving needs.”
The Ray brothers have experience in numerous business arenas, from repossession to landlords and almost everything in between. In 2003, they opened Ray’s Auto Sales, a used car lot buying and selling “a little bit of everything.”
“Running a business is all work and no play,” said Chris, who tries to find time to ride horses with his daughter when possible. “I love to head out to Horseman’s Hideaway, Mammoth Cave or Land Between the Lakes whenever I can.”
