Sitting Pretty: University Car Center Showcases U-Haul Rentals

Owner Nick Kanselaar, an accomplished mechanics, has been working on cars for more than 15 years. From oil changes and brake repairs to transmission replacements, University Car Center can handle it all.
“We can do anything nuts and bolts related,” Kanselaar explained. “I worked for a dealership for many years, so our mantra is providing dealership quality work at a wholesale price.”
Since Kanselaar is somewhat new to the area, he is hoping to attract new faces to his business by carrying U-Haul trucks and making a name for himself through his quality work.
Kanselaar also is passionate about causes, including one that hits close to home.
“I’ve had a lot of friends and family pass away because of cancer,” Kanselaar said. “Whenever there are fundraisers or cancer awareness events, I try to do something.”
When cancer groups hold silent auctions, University Car Center contributes several “baskets” featuring toolboxes filled with University Car Center coupons, T-shirts, flashlights and first-aid kits.
