U-Haul Hosts the 2012 Wounded Warrior Project® Soldier Ride™ Phoenix, Join U-Haul in Saluting America’s Real-Life Heroes!
PHOENIX (Oct. 19, 2012) — Phoenix-based U-Haul, founding partner of Soldier Ride™, is reaching out to the Valley for support in saluting the 2012 Wounded Warrior Project® Soldier Ride Phoenix, as we welcome the Wounded Warriors participating on the ride to the Valley of the Sun.
For the fourth year in a row, Soldier Ride will be cycling through the Town of Paradise Valley on Friday, October 19th and U-Haul would like to encourage the Valley to show their support by making an online donation to “Team U-Haul” at https://store.uhaul.com/SoldierRide. U-Haul will be matching all donations dollar for dollar.

In August 2012, WWP opened up a regional office in Phoenix in order to help reach out to the many Wounded Warriors and their family members who reside in the Valley. Tens of thousands of Wounded Warriors and family members receive support each year through WWP programs designed to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment.
