U-Haul Land Acquisition Means New Self-Storage Facility, Jobs for Milford

MILFORD, Ohio (Oct. 8, 2018) — A state-of-the-art moving and self-storage facility will be coming to Milford thanks to the U-Haul® land acquisition southwest of Chamber Drive, just east of the Beechwood Road intersection.

U-Haul Moving & Storage at Milford Pkwy. will offer truck and trailer sharing, towing equipment, moving supplies, U-Box® portable moving and self-storage containers, and much more. There will be more than 850 self-storage units with climate-control options at affordable price points available for rent.

Also available at the future three-story facility will be professional hitch installation; propane; U-Haul Remote 24/7® access for self-storage customers; a U-Haul Re-Use center for gently used household goods and materials to be shared amongst the community; and the Take A Box, Leave A Box program.

The 98,036-square-foot building is expected to be completed by fall 2019. Plans call for five additional single-story drive-up self-storage buildings totaling 10,800-square-feet.

Case expects to hire a staff of 10 or more Team Members when the facility is fully operational. U-Haul will look to hire locally to promote job growth in Milford. U-Haul always encourages local contractors to bid on construction work.
