World's highest tides make a splash on the sides of U-Haul® Moving Vans

The Hopewell Rocks in the Bay of Fundy host the world's highest tides, whose daily rhythms continuously reveal nature's extraordinary design. This impressive phenomenon shapes the coastline, impacts the ecosystem and supports the amazing cycle of life of the area's species. Though you may not get to witness 100 billion tons of saltwater ebbing and flowing each day in Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick, you will get to see the beautifully colored depiction of the world's highest tides make a splash on the sides of U-Haul moving vans throughout North America.

On Monday, August 4th, the U-Haul Media and Public Relations Department, along with U-Haul Company of Atlantic Canada (Co. 843), unveiled the newest SuperGraphic representing the province of New Brunswick. The unveiling took place at the Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site, in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Marketing Company President (MCP) Bruce Bennett, U-Haul Company of Atlantic Canada (Co. 843), presented plaques to a large number of dignitaries representing the province of New Brunswick, as well as to people from the Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site and Environment Canada's Canadian Wildlife Service who are involved with educating the public about the worlds highest tides and the shorebirds of the Bay of Fundy. Recipients included Wayne Steeves, member of the legislative assembly for Albert County; Mary Wood, administrative assistant for Rob Moore, member of Parliament for Fundy Royal; Myer Rabin, president of the Riverview Liberal Association; Kelly Cain, director of tourism and events, city of Moncton; Peter Hicklin, Environment Canada's Canadian Wildlife Service; Richard and Kathy Faulkner, Baymount Outdoor Adventures; Noel Hamann, property manager, Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site; and Annick Robichaud, admissions and group tour manager, Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site.

After the unveiling, everyone enjoyed spending time trying to find Sammy U, the official U-Haul mascot hidden in the New Brunswick SuperGraphic. Then everyone presented with a plaque was invited to sign the SuperGraphic on the truck and pose for photographs.
