My experience with the person at this pick up location was great. However, I will never be recommending U-haul to anyone in the future. I reserved a 26' truck online a month in advance to move my family 500 km to our new home. The day before I was scheduled to pick up the truck I was told that only 15' trucks were available. The person told me that when you make a reservation only "equipment" is guaranteed, not a specific size or type, that specific equipment is subject to availability. When I read this during my initial booking I took that to mean that I would have to drive to a location other than my preferred location to get the truck I had reserved not that I might not get a 26' truck at all. This policy is absolutely ridiculous! While I understand that trucks can break down and accidents can happen, how can it be that on the day of my reservation there were no 26' trucks within a 500 km radius of the GTA? How is it that U-haul cannot/will not guarantee the truck that you reserved?!?!?! You have to specify a drop of date and location when you get the truck. Shouldn't this mean that U-haul knows where their trucks are? Why give the option to book a specific truck at all then? In theory you could "reserve" a 26' truck and then get a pick up truck. How is a pick up truck the same as a 26' truck?!?!?!?! In my case, I managed to get a 15' truck which I guess I was lucky to even get. It completely messed up my move. I was planning on moving everything in one day, during one trip with one truck. I had to ask friends and family to drop everything and bring their pick up trucks/trailers to help make my move possible. Even then it wasn't enough, I had to make another trip 500 km each way to get the rest of our stuff. That is completely insane and unacceptable! Moving is a stressful and difficult thing to do especially when moving 500 km away. People need to and do plan things well in advance as I thought I had but at the last minute U-haul pulled this ridiculous policy out and I would have been left stranded had it not been for friends and family. Just despicable....... I'm sure it's all in the name of profit and since U-haul is really the only game in town they can get away with it. No wonder there are so many poor reviews of U-haul online and looking back on them I should have realized that U-haul was a poor choice. I will certainly not be using U-haul in the future and every chance I get, I will be telling everyone that will listen how terrible U-haul is. U-haul, you should be ashamed of yourself.... If a reservation is truly only for "equipment" and not a specific truck size you should remove that as an option while reserving. I assume that you don't because then people wouldn't book with you. Gambling on truck availability is not something that most people would want to do. Similarly, to the truck experience I had reserved 120 moving blankets for my move. The person on the main U-haul line assured me that the pick up location would have 120 blankets. Unsurprisingly, upon arrival, only 24 were available. The person at the pick up location said that they've never had 120 blankets available..... I was able to make 24 work but again, why allow someone to book something that isn't available and then expect them to accept it. What would happen if you booked a certain size of storage room? Would you arrive with all your stuff and be told there was only a closet to put your stuff in? Or worse yet, what if you have booked moving help expecting 4 strong adults to help you move and instead you get 4 feeble 12 year olds?!?!?! Again, U-haul you are just the worst. You make promises; sometimes they work out and sometimes they don't. You don't have to worry about when they don't because you're really the only option and you know people have no other choice. Or you wait to tell people that you're not able to fulfill their "reservation" until it's too late for them to make other arrangements. I have a few more choice words for you U-haul but will refrain as this is a public review. Instead I will say: U-haul, give your head a shake and think about if this is how you would like to be treated while moving your family. I think that clearly, the answer is a resounding NO!Jared J.

The person at Auto Ranch, where we dropped off the truck said that all I could do was call 905-790-6916, as he could not reduce the ridiculously high price for this one day rental if a 15' truck.Peter S.

Very friendly service both booking over the phone and at pick up and drop off. They were very accommodating when I had to extend the time on the cargo van for extra days. And were good at letting me know when it was needed back for someone else to use. I would certainly recommend this location to others in this area for rental of uhaul vehicles.MAUREEN L.

Truck was filthy inside. Previous user had spilt coffee in the cup holders and the floor. There was trash inside the cad, which also suggested this vehicle was not sanitized prior to my use.JASON B.
The van key was not in the lockbox. The instructions were not accurate. I found a lock on the back truck and the combination didn't even work. Took 30 minutes to unlock to find the truck keys in the bay. Biggest hassle I've ever dealt with, not happy about this rental at alleric L.

The agent gave me a pick up and return location 48 kilometres away from my place in another city and told me it's only 15 minutes but took me 45 mintues . So I wasted 96 kilometers and 90 minutes not mentioning the extra gas I paid . Very disappointed 😡😡😡GHOLAMH S.
