Nicolaos S.Car Salon lies. The contract indicated more gas and less miles that was in the truck. they said they would fix it and did not. I called Uhaul, you can see lots of notes on my file. Uhaul did nothing, I got charged for the extra miles. Telephone wait times are unacceptable.

Edward W.Unorganized. When I arrived they told me I didn't have a reservation. After a closer look at the reservations, they realized they I overlooked and changed my reservation to accommodate the other booking without my knowledge making it 22 hour rental. I, however, needed all 24 hours and once I realized what they had done, had to call dispatch to make the changes. The van had obviously not been cleaned prior to my pickup and had a putrid odor. I had to bring Lysol spray with me during my trip and once I got home had to take a shower just to get the smell off me/my clothes.

Car Salon was given to me after a man at my original dropoff location - Gold Coast Mailroom- came out of the store to tell me to go away because they could not handle a 10 foot truck- unacceptable- amateur.

RIGOBERTO A.I wasn't happy with the mileage calculated and how the amount was $30 more and mileage calculated over 20 miles more. My fault for not taking note of the mileage beforehand but truck was in good condition. I just wouldn't use the location again

And on top of everything else my mileage was not correct! I was charged for more miles! I have all the pictures of all the problems. My complaint reference #1650509.

ROBERT B.I was charged more than I should have been. I tried email (wrong email was on receipt) and calling and still haven't resolved it. I was charged weekly rate when i picked up on Saturday and returned Sunday. My pickup location was also changed last minute without giving me much option-and no mileage allowance given for extra 30 minutes of driving I had to do each way. Would never use again.
jeanine P.I checked in online and the agent, through no fault of his own, had some difficulties conpleting the transaction on the website. I had prepaid and he could not eliminate the need for a deposit without help on the phone. This added an additional 20 miuntes to the checkout.

James L.Two things I toke van at 10713 and brought it back at 10741 and came back three hours early pick up at 11 am came back at 3pm no one check me in and now being charge for added mileage 10760 and I bought it back at full they are telling me I did put gas in.what a rip off. From Glen cove to garden city 9.4 miles and back that's 18.8 miles and a few extra not even 30 miles like I wanted.

Dan B.Car Salon did not explain the fuel usage fees before I rented the truck. I feel this is excessive $46 for 4 gallons. The truck also acted as if it were only using 1st and 2nd gear all the time even though it was set to drive (D). On my bill it would compute to 4.5 miles per gallon. I believe the truck has a transmission problem or was set up to be moving very heavy loads all the time. I moved large items, not heavy items. I request a refund of the "fuel fill-up service fee".
