Although this location was good, my original location did not even have the truck that I reserved. I had to already drive 20 minutes to get to that location. The person at the location said "Yeah, I don't know why they sent you here because we don't have that one." So, I called the u-haul customer service and had to look for somewhere else. I asked them to please call ahead and make sure the u-haul was at the location because I was not driving somewhere again to not have an available truck. The next available one was an hour away from where we already were so we were forced to go there. All in all, I was pushed back about 3 hours and had people waiting at home to help me move. I was given extra miles to compensate, but I think the customer service reps need to call the locations they reserve at to ensure they will have the u-haul before the customer travels to pick it up so this will not happen. Tracy at roanoke was very helpful and communicated with me so well. I am not satisfied with uhaul in that i have to drive to roanake to pick up the truck when i needed in auburn al. Uhaul provided extra miles to accommodate but the gas i had to pay for which is obviously an extra incurred cost.JENNIFER H.

Well, was supposed to pick up in Lineville 30 miles away but was re-routed since Lineville truck did not come in. No fault of individual dealers, but UHAUL failed to notify me . So it changed a lot of planning.RUSSELL W.
The drop off location that was emailed did not have a drop box there was only one uhaul trailer off to the side of a parking lot. There was no visible uhaul business. Had to locate another that had a visible drop box. Called the uhaul number on the contact to report where I was leaving the trailer. The person who FINALLY answered was confused and kept asking where I had left the keys to the truck. He finally transferred me to someone who never answered. I am just happy that the fact that the trailer was returned is confirmed.MARTHA Y.

Haul changed my pickup location at the last minute and I had to drive 1 hour from Auburn to get my hauler. Totally ruined my plans for my daughter's graduationâ€¦but I had no other choice but to take what they had. This is a complete 180 from my last experience and now I doubt that I will count on their guarantees. And yes I still had to pay full price for the rental! Horrible experience.DANNYMAR L.

The personnel at this location would never answer their phones and did not show up to work the day we were to pick up our truck. Luckily Uhaul customer service helped usMARTIN F.
They weren't open at 10am as sign stated and had to be called by a local person to come in. They arrived and told us to wear masks inside as they were just getting over COVID, they worn no masks and hand sanitizer was not in use. The auto transport I was forced to pick up here was not on available as it had been "stolen". I was sent well out of my way to get another and lost 3 hrs of use on my rental time of the truck. I had made a reservation to pick the trailer. pads and a furniture dolly up at 9am April 16th. I got to the location at 9 and the facility was closed. It didn't open until 10 (individual stated that he had notified U-Haul of the new hours on 3 occasions) which caused a delay in my plans. Additionally, they didn't have the furniture dolly I had reserved which, again, caused extra headache finding a dolly that I thought would be provided as requested in my initial reservation. Customer service at the U-Haul 1-800 number was rude and actually hung up on me. I took the trailer back on April 17th at 6pm and tried to do an on-line turn in with no luck. I then contacted the Customer Service Chat Line and again couldn't believe the rudeness of the individual I chatted with. I left the trailer and my copy of the contract agreement at the location and the turn-in was not processed until April 22nd, 5 days after I dropped the trailer off. Very dissatisfied with this experience.Tim J.

Release this location from any connection with U-Haul whatsoever. They are rude unprofessional and downright sorry. Accuse me of stealing a vehicle when at the end of the day it is parked on their lot, and being paid for. Yes, it was kept two extra days, but with an understanding that it was being paid for. I found out by a phone call screaming and threatening along with absurd accusations and even being told someone would pick me up and take me to their office and hold me (for random or hostage) until they were paid.
