I was charged $128.00 on the day of rental when it was suppose to be $53.00 I showed the lady the transaction on my phone. She then said it was my banks fault. I contacted my bank and they said it had nothing to do with them. I showed up first thing Monday morning to see if they had figured out a way to resolve the issue. I was told I needed to contact corporate. Was also told I'd get a call from a manager and it's been hours with no call from them. I have spent hours on the phone with uhaul customer service and my bank. And still can't get uhaul to get their shit together and refund my money. Absolutely disappointed with uhaul as a whole and do not plan to ever use them again and will be sure to tell everyone I know about this poor experience with uhaul.Dave H.

I had rented here in the summer, owner provided excellent customer service. Unaware he was closed Saturday, I called Valpo & discovered I could rent through the same company on-line! Your app is absolutely horrible for after hours returns. When I was unable to get the app to work, I called customer service and requested a call back after the recording stated that the wait would be 52 minutes on the phone. Left all the requested info. and never got a call back.Timothy B.

The original location for drop off was supposed to be 24 hours...I got there at 6:05 pm to drop off and it was a locked lot with no way to get in. After a 48 min wait on hold I was able to get ahold of uhaul customer service and they were able to find me another drop off that was actually open..wasted alot of time trying to drop off trailer,very unsatisfied with that part of itSean R.

Reserved my moving truck in advanced online and received confirmation it would be there at the Roselawn location. Day of moving our truck was not available and we were told there was not one within 200 miles. I will say the gentleman working at the Roselawn location really advocated for us on the phone with U-Haul. We had to drive out of our way and had to take a smaller truck but he figured something out for us and also asked UHaul to reimburse us. We were so thankful for him. He fixed a major issue that U-Haul caused and even got us money back. We would not recommend U haul again but definitely the rental place in Roselawn for other needs. U haul did refund as they said they would but we would have really been in a bad situation and I wouldn't want that to happen to someone elseMichael R.

This is the most positive interaction I have ever had with U-Haul. When I called to make the reservation, Tanya was able to suggest a rate that saved me money due to the number of miles I was going to be using that day. We dropped off the trailer on Wednesday May 27 at approximately 5 pm. They didn't check the trailer in until today at 831pm which caused uhaul to charge me for an extra day of service. Very disappointed.Bryan P.

I was charged for a trailer that I never even needed at all because of this trailer with its jagged sliced up license plate on the back of it the cut me open and had me go to the hospital I was even able to return the trailer on time that I didn't even get a chance to use and wasn't even allowed to get any of my money back and then when I tried to return it on Friday when I got out of the hospital I was told specifically by a U-Haul representative that they'd rather me return it the following day on Saturday Even though I was trying to return it on that Friday and now above everything else I am being charge for a whole extra day of usage for truck and trailer when I was told to return it the following day when I tried to return it Friday night!Aaron T.

Get rid of the phone return. It is a huge pain ?? in the ass. It takes much longer than necessary. I recently returned a van to the Schererville location after a VERY long day and it took me 25 minutes in the dark after midnight to do the phone check in on RT. 30 and I was scared to death out there.
