There was no place available to park the truck. No personnel were on hand to answer questions. I had to fit the truck into a very tight space. I was concerned that parking inside the storage facility gate would cause someone to be unable to lease the truck if the gate was locked. The website would not allow me to go back as far as I could see to view guidelines for where truck should be parked in the event of no spaces.
GAYLON W.The truck was returned on Monday as per contract (three hours BEFORE 4 pm deadline). On Tuesday 6/21/22 they charged my credit card unauthorized and fraudulent $ 58 for an extra days rental!!!! Somebody neglected to do their job.
Paul L.The process to self-check in was very glitchy (the app) and not smooth at all. In the app, I would click start the check in process and every time it would take me to a blank screen. Trying to login online via my mobile decice I was booted several times. Not a smooth process at all. My U-Haul was very dangerous to drive. About half way into my trip it was apparent that the transmission wasn't functioning properly. Just taking my foot off the gas would cause the truck to jerk and/or go into what felt like the vehicle braking on its own. When I made it to my destination the truck begin to smoke, however the hot and cold gauge didn't fluctuate. Attached is a video of the truck visibly smoking and leaking. This truck is no longer fit for rental and requires immediate maintenance. I am thankful I was able to make it to my destination and back, but I was incredibly scared of breaking down and my night turning into a maintenance nightmare.

Gloria B.The people running this is horrible very sour on the phone and in person. The guy and his wife acts like they hate everyone. I was late returning my truck and had permission from traffic control to return it late and he treated me like SHIT. I'll give you haul probably $4000 a month and he was all butt hurt that he didn't make money off of one way. I get rerouted all the time and have to pick up at different locations. It's part of the U-Haul process he needs to understand that if not he doesn't need to rent UHaul's.

Joe T.First of all this location is not the one I choose. Very friendly staff. Location was easy enough. Tight area to get truck out of. Steep hill at exit onto busy Hwy. The over all appearance of the truck looked rough. Many dents and scratches. The truck obviously had not been cleaned. It would had mud splashed up the side of the cab of the truck. I had to sweep the inside of the box area before putting my personal belongings into it. Truck not full with gas. Given a math formula chart to figure out how much to put back in upon return. I made the mistake and forgot this. Filled the truck to th full level. Yelp my mistake cost me a few dollars in extra gas.

The whole complex is under rentavation, but the manager, John was very friendly, curtious, and helpful in getting us unloaded. He let me BORROW a hand truck, instead of renting me one, when mine had flat tires. Just one little thing that helps. Thanks John
Norman T.Difficult to get in and out of as they are doing a lot of construction. Was unable to leave key for vehicle as the after hours drop box was not locked properly and wide open. I was uncomfortable leaving my key as I did not want to be held liable if the vehicle went missing

Charles B.Made/set up trailor over phone for $62........Got to store/Trailor and price had gone up to $82. Unit lights where not working so I had to run my lights to simulate all was working. Took over a hour for desk clerk to do paper work over computer due to a change in U-Hauls change of program. Rate ya'll 2 on scale of 10 .
Steve M.I have used U-Haul before and have been pretty satisfied, until now. The particular location was weird because they had construction going on, bitbit was the U-Haul that was what made me unhappy. It was not in good shape on the outside, with many cosmetic issues on the outside; more than I have ever seen on one. There were two loose screws on the inside, one holding a piece of square metal down, but this corner was loose and bent up a little but, and the other was holding one of the wooden tie-rails. Because the screws were loose, I have a huge rip in my mattress and a huge scratch in one of pieces of furniture, and when the screw came out and the wooden tie-rail fell down, My ropes slipped, spilling most of the boxes down from the "mama's attic". It was a bad experience overall and I plan on writing a letter to corporate. The guy at McEvers was extremely nice and decent person, but it was the u-haul itself that pissed me off.
