Overall, the truck was great to use. However, the experience with Uhaul was less than impressive. We had originally booked our reservation to pickup in Winona, MN (which is only 15 minutes from our house), then 2 days before our pickup date, we were notified that we had to drive to Rochester, MN to get a truck (which is 45 minutes from our house). Normally I wouldn't mind, but when we drove through Winona, there were NUMEROUS trucks sitting in the lot and I can't imagine all were going to taken on the same day we needed one. Inconvenient. Then, on our drop off date, we had to sit on hold on the phone for about an hour in the drop off location parking lot because the Uhaul website/app was not working so we could not complete the return. I understand technology issues happen, but at the end of a long moving process sitting in a parking lot on hold was the icing on the quick. When we need a truck again in a few months, we'll be hesitant to use Uhaul again.Aaron K.

Pick up location only open from 12:00 - 5:00, you have to pick up in a narrow timeframe the day before if you need a Uhaul in the morning.Daniel S.

Splash Zone in River Falls was fantastic. However, the U-haul scheduling person was one of the worst experiences I've had. The woman on the phone was extremely rude and not helpful.Lora E.

I did not get the trailer size I ordered and had to haul a larger trailer to Montana over 2 thousand miles. I received the same price as the one ordered. Also the running lights on the trailer did not work. The larger trailer cost us at least $100 dollars in fuel cost bucking a 30 mph wind coming across ND on the way home.Greg W.

When we made the reservation online - we asked for a selection that was 10-15 miles from our home (which was an option available). No one ever contacted us. When we contacted someone 48 hours before we were supposed to pick up the vehicle - we were told pick up was in Blue Earth MN which is an over 2 hour drive.. which was ridiculous. An attempt was made for something closer which ended up being in River Falls, WI - a 40+ minute drive. We have had bad experiences in the past with UHaul and making reservations online - this was strike 3. Not a happy customer.Dale B.

Per the above comments Uhaul is out of touch regarding the time it takes to move. Pool and Spa has very limited hours. They open late, close early. Limited days. ACE Hardware would be better service point in River Falls. Your service points in Hudson WI also have limited hours. As well as David's of Ellsworth.Dennis S.

For the Return truck portion, Mobile app would not work despite following the instructions for updating my settings, using the free location WiFi. You trust the customer when they say what location they are dropping off as as you can verify quicklyTeresa H.

The location itself and the workers were fine, but the Uhaul was not and it was evident they do not put the effort into the trucks themselves. The truck cab was filthy, it was clear it had not been cleaned whatsoever - given Covid this is not only unsanitary but a health hazard - there was visible animal hair ALL OVER the truck, a used water bottle behind the seat was easily seen, dirt and all else covering the surfaces to the extent that 0 surface I wiped came up clean at first go. I have reached out to Uhaul customer service twice and heard nothing about how this issue will be resolved, so we'll use another service for our future moves.Evan D.

Not drive halfway across the country for the damn thing when there was a 26 footer sitting 1/2 mile away where I rented the damn thing!! Very very very poor placement of the uhaul!! I had to drive 45 minutes to get it and waste 40 dollars in gas!! I will never use uhaul again and also spread the word on what you guys did, unless you guys make it right!!Bradley G.

Fuel gauge read closer to 3/8 than the 1/2 that was indicated on rental sheet. Since Splash Zone staff were vacationing for a period of time immediately prior to my rental - and fuel caps are not locking types - I wonder if your trucks are being siphoned during your absence. Just an FYI. Difference was $14.00 in fuel - no biggie to me, but might be to Splash Zone if they've got security issues.Robert G.

The sign for a UHaul drop-off wasn't clear from the highway, it was easy to miss. The parking lot was for an unrelated small-town business, so it was confusing. I wouldn't have known it was a UHaul drop-off location if not for the tiny sign in the front window and a key-drop box near the entrance. It wasn't shoveled very well either, so it was hard to tell what was a proper place to park the truck, so I just parked it in front of the building in what I hope is a legal space.Caroline K.

I'm not sure what or when I was charged for 2 extra days? In River Falls I requested 2 more days but when I got to the drop off in Mesquite they charged me for the 2 days. Please research this and let me know was I charged twice? Thanks Greg Maudlin 214-985-3048Greg M.
