while the staff was always courtesy and friendly, I frequently had problems accessing my storage unit. The card I was issued stopped working, and there was a time when my storage pass code would not work as well. Access was attempted around 8 pm ( storage hours listed 6 am to 10pm), but entry was denied due to outside of access hours. The access system to storage units needs to be updated and/or troubleshooted to work out the bugs. Also, because the office was closed calling the UHUAL system for assistance makes no point because all they could do was refer me to the closed office for assistance.QUIANA H. | Overall Experience

The staff were great and the place was fairly clean. The only thing that was not good, was the fee was quite a bit extra for climate control so that my stuff was not destroyed by the heat, but every time I visited, the building with my unit was 85-90 degrees. That was not what I consider climate controlled. At least not what should be anyway. I had made a reservation online and when I arrived 20 mins early to pick up the truck, there were NO trucks. The guy at this first location, checked using my phone # and said my order reflected his was location was my preferred location, but never secured. I had requested self check in, provided and my credit card info and thought I had secured a truck. He told me this happens often as did the guy at the Greenwell Springs Road location. Seems your website needs to be revamped to avoid scenarios such as this! I had to back track over 10 miles to get the 2nd truck which also delayed my helpers already lined up as well as the person I was purchasing the furniture from.William P.

My service was great my unit isn’t exactly the size it is supposed to be due to the steel beam in the middle of the floor and the air-conditioned duck that is taking up a lot of space in it as well. I’ve rented U-Haul units before and they actually had an elevator so I was very surprised to see that it didn’t have an elevator and the no lights. I scheduled a location. The person was not there to give me the key. Then U-haul scheduled me to another location 12 miles away an hour and 15 minutes later but then found out it would be read for another 3 hours and 15 minutes later. I would of driven my estimated miles but drove an extra 25 miles which I paid for because U-haul screwed up my original reservation at my original location.john M.

My dissatisfaction is not with the location, but with the overall scheduling and pricing. I never can get a rental at the location that would be closest to me. This location was 22 miles from me. Why can't your main campus have trucks delivered to the customer's closest Uhaul location? I was charged for 45 miles in which 15-20 would of used. On my way home, I saw two different locations with the 10 footer trucks in their parking lot. Now explain to me why in the hell I had to drive WAY OUT MY WAY to pickup the rental?GINA S.

This has nothing to do with this location, but my overall experience with UHAUL. It was stressful and quite painful. I reserved a UHAUL truck almost a month before use. I was told that my reservation was cancelled THE MORNING I needed it (in fact I called UHAUL asking for help and then UHUAL said it was cancelled); I even called my UHAUL pick up place two-three days prior pickup to confirm everything (and they said it was all good). I called three different local locations, was on UHUAL text chat and UHAUL over phone--after almost 2 hours I was able to get another UHUAL. How can this be solved? When we originally rented the unit, the light inside the unit was out. We call this to the attention of the clerk renting us the unit. She said, she will have maintenance to repair the light. The light was never repaired, the light still was not working when we surrendered the unit. The second matter was the cockroaches in the unit. The staff was friendly, but not helpful at all. He was a new employee, so I understand him not knowing some things. Overall, I was very frustrated that the storage unit I had reserved wasn’t available upon arrival. I’m not sure how that could happen. I’m also annoyed I had to pay more for another storage unit instead of being compensated, they could have at least price match with the original storage unit I had reserved. Also, I want to note that I called the day I was supposed to get my storage unit to make sure it was fine to come the next day and that it would still be available. So, it was surprise when I got there that it wasn’t available, even though I double checked the day beforehand. The facility wasn’t bad, and the young man working was very sweet.
