Pro Great looking location. Staff very friendly. Con Had to wait 45 min for a repair to the visor before getting truck. Truck itself was noisy, squeaky, old. Interior smelled of excess cleaning product masking cabin smoke. Truck windshield in need of heavy duty cleaning. Not sure about renting again.

All the staff at the dealership I use is friendly unbelievably helpful there are no stupid questions from me they are happy to answer and make sure I feel comfortable with the expansion out of all the Uhaul dealers I have dealt with I would say they are a 10 compared to the 1 to 5 I would rate all the others I have dealt with!!!

I booked a 20' truck for my move two months in advance from Queensway Uhaul in Etobicoke. The reservation was confirmed and I contacted the store location the morning before the move to make sure everything was ready to go. The representative I spoke with told me the truck was ready and we'd be all set for pickup on July 30 at 10AM. I was later contacted by Uhaul at 8:30PM on July 29 to let me know the 20' was in fact NOT available - instead offering a 15' truck for pickup in Burlington, no where near to where I lived. As a result of the smaller truck, we could not fit everything in one load. We filled up several friends and family vehicles, and still needed to make a second trip. The last minute change in truck was a massive inconvenience - both in pickup as well as cargo capacity. Uhaul offered a $50 credit and small reduction in mileage charge - a very nominal compensation for the inconvenience. Upon receiving my final invoice, the $50 credit was overlooked and so far yet to be applied. I find myself wasting even more time and energy now trying to get this resolved. The customer experience in this case was pitiful. My feeling is that Uhaul is incredibly disorganized with very poor communication and professionalism. I will not be using Uhaul for my next move.

I was very disappointed that I had booked at Milton and the 401 and had to pick up at Burlington and QEW. That is a lot of extra gas I had to use.

I had an issue with the gas fuel gauge reading on paperwork at 7/8 when it was closer to 5/8. Brought it to customer service attention and it was taken care of as 5/8. Have not confirmed completely as I have not received my bill yet Paul beckwith

The elderly white lady and the brown guy were extremely rude. The lady didn't want to help put the trailer on because she didn't have male help and insisted I do it myself even though I was injured and I have no idea how and this is supposed to be part of the service.

Uhaul always and still push their clients to get all types of insurances. They are in the insurance business not the truck rental business. I also hate when I'm pressured to return equipment as soon as possible even though I have a full 24hrs they try to get it back quicker so they can rent it 2-3 times per day. I rent there cause there are no other places to rent. Uhaul is terrible. Always has always will.

Vehicle was clean but there is a god aweful smell in the cargo thats is stuck on our clothes and all boxes, furniture and cloth materials that was transported. Smell is hard to get rid off from items and it was difficult to stay in the cargo area to load, unload and rearrange. All materials will have to be sanitizsed and cloth items steamed or cleaned in a way to take out that smell. This was my 2nd time renting here in less than a month and the 1st time the vehicle was older and not good to drive. Location is great but I don't think I will rent at this location again

Reserved a 10' and there wasn't one when I we t to pick it up. Had to get a 15' which was not idea as I had to go to downtown Toronto with it and it was a pain to park due to its length. Air conditioning system cut out when I was on the highway which was another irritation as it was 32 deg C out and stop And go traffic. Not a good overall experience.

We picked up the 25 foot truck, the young man explained how to get the gas back to 1/4 tank but didn't explain how many miles you get in a quarter of a tank. We put gas in to 3/4 a tank but went over in Kilometres so I figured we left a half tank of gas so the over on kilometres would be a wash, I was basically told sorry about you luck. So I'm out about $100

Firstly i was told over the phone that no booking available, but later they gave me a local truck offer with slightly higher rates, When i went to take my reserved truck, i saw that a lot of trucks were available and even i was given a UHaul truck. But i was not allowed to drop it off on any other location.As i was told that we have arranged a local truck for you instead of UHAUL so i have go return it to same place, but as i said a lot of UHAUL truck were available at the time of check in and even i was given A UHaul truck.Moreover the checkin Agent did not disclose there after hours drop off $20 charges. Please refund my $20 >

The trailer was well maintained but dirty on the inside. I gave it a good sweeping and then blew it out with our compressor before returning in. The people were great at this location. They even let me have it a day earlier as it was just sitting there waiting for me to rent it. This turned out to bea big plus! A little dirt left in the trailer was no a big deal.

Not related to this location, but it was a disaster getting the trailer. Booked it a month or more in advance at Royal Windsor and the night before I'm told sorry we don't have one. They sent me to Burlington which really made things complicated in terms of logistics and timing.

The online platform did not work properly. We try to register an account, not work, after the security code was sent the system did not allowed to continue to introduce the code. At the vehicle return we try to check out on line and also the system freeze and not allowed to finish the process properly. Improve the platform.

The website is sometimes difficult to find the trailer I want at the location I want. I have to root around a bit to get time location and type lined up. The trailer is always there it just seems tricky to order. Also I would love the website to give me a way to skip all the value added upselling. I usually rent a Motorcycle trailer. I don't need boxes or to hire a crew to pack for me.

I had one of the worst experiences with this booking. I originally booked in April 2022 for a 6x12 enclosed trailer from the Brampton location, doing my part to book well in advance to not have to deal with not getting a trailer. Then I was called 3 days prior to pickup on June 27th saying they no longer had a trailer for us as the one returned was damaged and they booked an alternate in Burlington without speaking to myself before doing so (this trailer was over 50kms away from the location I had booked from) and that it wasn't a 6x12 but instead it was a 5x8 not only was I inconvenience to drive all the way to Burlington (and compensated only a 50$ credit) but after speaking with multiple representatives (I called multiple locations and even the 1800 number) they wouldn't even come to a understanding of allowing me to return the trailer at a different location to help as this was not my fault and I did not book the uhaul from such a far location. I will not be booking with Brampton uhaul ever again and this isn't the first time we have been put in this situation. I will most likely be finding another company to book my trailers with moving forward as this seems to be an ongoing issue with no real support from customer service to assist the customer whose not even at fault. It was frustrating and this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had. I will also be telling friends and family to not book and to find another trailer rental that is more reliable.

What can you do to improve? - stop cheating your customers on fuel. I realise you will take absolutely no notice of this but I rented a van for a local delivery. I returned the van within two hours after traveling a total of 16 kilometers. I put 5 litres of fuel in the van. After returning the van, I was charged an extra $13:27 for 'fuel. This equates to over 7 litres of fuel. There is no way a van with 22,147 km on the clock uses 12 litres of fuel for a 16k run. Either that means your vans use a litre of fuel every 1.25 kilometers or you are simply cheating YOUR OWN CUSTOMERS out of money. I called your Mainway (Burlington) location and spoke to an agent (she mumbled her name, I think it was Tracy). She was very abrupt and simply said the needle was not in the same position as when I left. Ridiculous. UHaul needs to either (a) set a fuel charge per kilometer and drop the requirement for the customer to refill or (b) rent it 'full' and require that it is returned 'full'. Your current practice is disgraceful. Your location on Mainway in Burlington openly cheated me at at time when I (as a senior) am feeling financial pressure due to the economic pressures on fixed income individuals. As a company, you should be ashamed of this practice. I will be telling everyone I know to watch for this and rent vehicles elsewhere. Shameful - worst customer service ever.

Too much of the fascia was cut out of the bumper. The cut was not done with the proper tool with many rough edges and crooked lines. Lighting harnesses behind each tail light were not properly stowed and forced the taillights to not sit flush to the body. The hitch itself has many rough edges and clearly was not ground down before powder coating.

Although I put $15 of gas in the truck, and felt it was on the line where it was when I picked up the vehicle, I was charged an additional $23. This was a rip off and I wouldn't recommend U Haul or this location to any friends and family. Never again U Haul.

Only to find out on the day before we picked it up, that it had to be returned to the same location. Although the file did not show our request, the recorded call would have. I would give you guys lower rate but it d be a unfair rating for those guys who worked after hours schedules specially Porea he was above and beyond customers expectations . I d like to mention that the lady I booked with (not the blond one) other lady I think she needs more friendly approach to clients and listen what they ask and needs. My case I asked her storage closer to the loading area and she gave me farthest one and took us 3 hours to unload our stuff half of this time was just walking in front of the empty similar size storages. I was so frustrated , each time she was coming from outside smoking cigarettes and smell was unbearable. I am sorry to tell the truth .

The staff did not take customer to see the unit so when I find out that the door way was not fit my trike to go through. I have to change the unit. Another thing is that, every time i open the lock, the alarm went on. So loud and annoying. I have to go talk to staff 3 times, problem still not solved. The light on the hall way is good but for the unit inside is not bright enough. It will be great if you can improve these.

We had some issues getting into the facility once when we arrived at 7am and the door was locked. No one was able to resolve the issue and we had to leave. Also, on the day we moved out, we discovered that epoxy from a previous floor job had leaked into our unit and onto some of our boxes/content. I alerted 2 staff and no one even apologized!

Management locked our unit without even an email. Inappropriate and not the way to correct policy violations. We didn't have a nonpayment issue but we used an inferior lock, locking us out with a more expensive one with no notice. Very inconvenient.

Let me say this location (3245 Mainway, Burlington) has been the Only u-haul facility that I have used where the staff (Jojo, Mia and all the others) were friendly and extremely considerate!! Kudos to the management! My tainted opinion from using the other locations was erased by my experience at 3245 Mainway. My Storage Unit was missing the pull rope and I am Not sure if the light bulb works on a timer or it Needs replacing. If the above mentioned was in good condition, I Would have given a 5 star. Overall Experience was Good and Will come back again if and when I Need Storage again.

The staff are amazing - friendly helpful efficient and flexible! The new storage facility is great - clean well lit and lots of parking and room to maneouvre. Soon the storage access hours will be 24/7 which will be great.

I'm a local Real Estate Agent and the Uhaul phone line was impossible to get through BUT when I walked into the new Uhaul on Mainway Ave I was extremely impressed. Terrific service, very well organized, helpful and easy to find. The Manager was great, friendly with a very chipper, organized staff. I will tell everyone to go here, great to see customer service so important, great job!!!

The staff have been amazing. The gentleman working last night was so friendly and genuine. Tracy has been so accommodating throughout the whole process. Moving is a stressful time and this uhaul location has been so helpful. We will continue to use this location/facility and have already recommended it to friends. The only reason I said no to the access hours being convenient is because there is no access code to the storage facility yet. I understand it will be installed sometime within the next two weeks... so not a big deal. We are still very happy with this location.
