Trailer was dirty, had a broken taillight, and was parallel parked with other trailers. I had to move 2 other trailers to access, and then still forced to lift and laterally move a 12 foot trailer. I then had to wait for 5 minutes to have the gate opened. I won't be back, and will go out of my way to discourage friends and family from using this place.

In addition, this location would not allow me to return the dolly to them. Alexis said I would be charged $75 for a stolen dolly by the other location if I didn't return it back to them. So...I had to go all the way back to the second location to return the dolly. Also, there was no one at the desk when I returned the truck. I had to wait what seemed like forever in the lobby before someone showed up to return the truck. Not good.

David J.This Uhaul dealer overcharged me $23.58 for fuel charge. I took the pictures of the fuel/mileage meter before I left the Uhaul parking at 9:14 Am and when I returned to Uhaul at 2:02 Pm the same day. I refilled the gas tank above the level that was starting out with. The contract indicated 7/8 gas tank. I thought I also had 7/8 gas tank to begin with. When I returned the truck, the manager said that I only had 3/4 tank (base on the picture). I should come back to the office in the morning to have the fuel correction at 3/4 gas tank. The fuel meter doesn't have any numbers on it. How do I know that I had 7/8 or 3/4 fuel tank. I don't think it's fair for me to pay for Uhaul's mistake of wrote down the incorrect fuel level. I was going to rent the same Uhaul truck on 08/16/22 to move my daughter's stuffs back to school. I may have to rent it from someone else. I am 64 years old and retired on a fix income. I cannot afford to pay for the extra fuel charge because someone at Uhaul wrote down the wrong fuel level. If this Uhaul really want my $23.58 that bad by choosing not to do the right thing, then they can have it. I'll stay away from Uhaul, and specially away from this Uhaul location. I'll file a complaint with the Central Ohio Better Business Bureau and write review on Google.
PHU T.The Staff at this location were very nice and helpful! However, when I said that my truck did not have AC (i.e. the air was cool first thing in the morning, however, after the truck had been driven the air coming from the vents was hot!), they said nothing could be done. I called Roadside Assistance and was informed that if I replied to the text that Roadside Assistance sent me, then someone would come out to assess the condition...they never came. So...150 miles into my 400+mile trip the AC returned to blowing hot air and thus I drove the 15' truck with auto transport the rest of the way with the windows rolled down. A $50.00 refund was given, however, that doesn't even begin to cover the discomfort experienced on the remainder of the hot/humid trip!!!

We are on a time schedule to pick up dining room furniture. The attendant was methodical and only semi-cordial. They just pointed a truck and said that's yours. No one to help us if we had questions about the truck upon seeing it.

DAVID D.No complaints about the site. But I had reserved a 10 ft truck at a site 12 miles closer to my son's apartment. The day before my reservation was changed to a 20 foot truck at this location. Fuel efficiency was much worse with the larger truck and combined with the extra distance it took 10 gallons of gas to make the trip. Not pleased with the extra expense due to the bait and switch.

Employee commented “you are lucky we are even renting you a truck?†Really?? Then the rental was for 1/2 day and not a full day, which made us have to use our cars to move a lot of the smaller stuff the next day. Worst experience ever with U-Haul.

I won't use Uhaul again.

I had to keep my eyes on the lane diviers in the side mirrors while driving and constantly provide input to the steering wheel to keep the truck centered in the lane. Not sure if this is typical for this kind of truck or if I just had one that could use some maintenance.
