What is worst than bad customer service : no customer service... There was no truck prepared at pickup time despite the confirmation call of the day before. The store was closed before the hours displayed on the website. Stayed an hour to figure out why there was no pick up truck button on my dashboard and trying to find a solution with the helpline. All this with a newborn and a toddler in the car ... thanks ...

Trailer was missing it's tag and it took three calls to finally find someone who could correct the situation other than their suggestion that I unload, swap trailers and reload. Trailer insurance was added to my contract without my consent and even thou I declined immediately, It still has not been refunded to my credit card.

The pickup location and time were changed at the last minute without any notification to me. I had to drive out of my way and then sit at the new location for an hour until they opened because the new location didn't open at the time I had reserved. The hand truck that I ordered and prepaid for was not available. Overall, I would not recommend using Uhaul to anyone. I understand that things change and logistics are a fluid thing, but alerting your customer to changes would vastly improve the experience. A simple text or email saying your reservation has changed would have been great.

Have the right hours on the website for the location. Make sure there is full in the equipment. Make sure it doesn't smell like cat piss in the truck and nasty.

BE CAREFUL!! If you decline insurance because you have your own they wont ask for your insurance card. Instead they will charge you and you wont know until you get your receipt. RIP OFF ARTISTS!! I am going to UHaul corporate to resolve this. Good luck!

Tell the customer that they need to compete the online process before charging them for additional time. I had the truck for less than 12 hours and was charged for 48 hours. The pawn shop i picked up the truck from nor U- Haul booking agent informed me about the online after hours check in procedure.

Please make dollies standard in all trucks or invest in some liftgates. Lower decks are fine but some things are just too heavy.

When I called to verify my husband could pick up the truck, the guy seemed like he was getting aggravated trying to answer my question. Then I get my credit card notification that I got charged for SafeMove coverage which neither I nor my husband authorized.

I reserved and paid for a truck, dolly, and furniture blankets. I was told at pickup, not before so that I could adjust my plans, that I could not get my full order. Picked up the truck a little earlier than originally planned because if schedule changed. When telling the pickup store that I would need the truck a few hours later than the newly scheduled drop off time, I was told that would be fine and it would be worked out for us at no charge. I was charged an additional day and I still have yet to be refunded my money I paid for items I did not receive.

Although I'd reserved 2 dolleys & 20 blankets several weeks ahead, only have that was there on loading day. The mgr. said that Uhaul only guarantees the truck will be there, but not the equipment. By calling UHAUL HQ, my loaders were told to go over 20 miles to another city for the only other dolly available, where they had to argue it away from THAT mgr., as HQ had not informed him of them coming. Upon returning the truck, THAT mgr. said that Uhaul DOES honor reservations for equipment AND truck. I'd like to know the truth before I EVER use them again.

Pick up could not have been any easier. I used the on line check in option. So there was no waiting in line or paperwork. I pulled in, a rep came out and we hooked up to a nice trailer. Perfect.

Daylight to dark difference, I believe the difference had something to do with the culture of help you hired. These folks are friends of my daughter's, but before they knew that they accommodated my every need. They really worked to help me have the best experience possible. A big "THANK YOU" to 1 Stop Pawn, who will be the only Uhaul store I will ever use again.
