Even though the location was closed for memorial day, The gentleman noticed me outside and helped me check in. The only reason it is not five stars is because during the checkout process, safeguard was added to my ticket unbeknownst to me, I did reach out to U-Haul customer service and the lovely lady put a dispute ticket in to get that refunded to me. So hopefully that's going to be taken care of.

Ironically, this location is only closed on Saturday so there was no one to receive my trailer and no way to reach anyone. I contacted another location by phone and THEY let the rep know that I had returned the trailer.

No one was ever there. Had to call U-Haul several times to make sure it was accepted and returned. After the 3rd day it was accepted. Location had hours open until 6pm, no one to be found, looked closed adding more concerns.

The experience of finding the key for the truck was sub- par. The key wasn’t in the location listed. Luckily a man with some knowledge about U-haul was able to let us know it was behind the visor and not in a box at the rear of the truck. Having everything online wasn’t a good experience. It took about 30 minutes to finally be on our way after many text/emails.

Got there and waited around for at least 45 minutes. I reserved the uhaul at 9:30am for a 10:30am pickup. It was a 24/7 truck share. I hadn’t arrived until almost 11:30. When I arrived the app wouldn’t allow me to pickup. I called the number on the building for the owner to tell me they’d have to call me back. I waited about 10 more minutes & he calls back and says he forgot to check the rentals this morning and hadn’t accepted it. He said he’d give me 8 days total and 800 miles for the delay. He said the keys should be in the truck. Upon checking the truck the keys were not in there. I called back and he said it would be ANOTHER 15 minutes because he wasn’t on property. The truck was dirty, the gas levels were wrong and he seemingly lied about the mileage and days he was allotting due to the delay. This guy is running for office but can’t even run his business. No way he’d be able to run a city.

There were no employees at the facility. I wanted to show someone pictures that I took of the dashboard that showed the before and after on the mileage and fuel. Later I was charged for 2 gallons of gas.

I was very annoyed with the original reservation at Lemoyne Blvd. I reserved the van on 11/8/24 but when I arrived the truck was double booked and I wasn’t given the truck. Then owner reserved another truck at another location and when I arrived they didn’t have a truck. This owner 1 stop Pawn in Gautier called the Ocean Springs location and even though he was closed he fixed it up so I could help my daughter move. I really appreciate Gautier and Ocean Springs U-Haul owner.

I could not get the app to complete the submissions. For example I needed to confirm the pick up location and it got stuck buffering. Also where the keys were located for pickup did not match what was on the app. I was searching for a padlock or a lock box and they were hidden in the cab. Also my dolly wasn’t included

1 stop pawn was excellent but u haul itself was horrible. I would highly recommend using a different moving service if possible. The customer service rep for Mississippi is ungodly rude and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a rental service

I tried to pick up the truck at 7:30 which is what time my reservation was for. Once I got there it said “looks like a piece of equipment has not been assigned for this reservation”. I had to wait for 40 mins on hold before I could talk to someone to get everything figured out. I drove around looking for another U-Haul place wasting $20-$30 in diesel. Once I finally was able to get ahold of someone they told me to return to the original place to pick up the truck and once we opened the truck it didn’t have blankets or a dolly which was on the original reservation. Then I got charged full price because of y’all’s mistake. It was around 8:30 when I was finally able to get the truck when the original reservation was for 7:30.

Very scetchy and a little scary. No one was on site so we had to download the app and the cell signal was poor so it did not work well. Never received an email stating the truck was returned

The employees were very friendly and nice once I got someone to come to the locked door with paper over the windows so you could not see in. The truck was dirty and smelled bad. The door seals did not seal causing the truck to be very loud. We ended up buying a roll of blue painters tape and taping around the doors so the noise was low enough that we could talk loudly to each other for the 2,200 mile trip. Totally unacceptable. Never thought of renting from anyone other than UHAUL in the past, and I have rented many times. In the future I will look at enterprise and Penske.

The man who gave me the rental was extremely efficient, I was there maybe three minutes tops and had keys and was able to roll away. Setup for parking was extremely easy as well as return of keys, building was well lit at night from the outside, drop off in the dark was no issue, location sits on a convenient strip of the highway where even during rush time traffic (5pm on a Friday) it was extremely easy to exit the property quickly and safely with a giant truck. Truck was cleaner than an enterprise rental, radio allowed Bluetooth etc. overall a quality experience I would recommend this location to anyone in the local area

When I arrived there was no utility dolly like I had reserved. No one on site to help and lady on phone was rude and not helpful. I ended up having to go buy a utility dolly because according to the lady on phone none were available. She did offer me a refund of 10 dollars but they did not help my situation. I am out 110 dollars for purchasing a dolly I will never use again and having yo go find a dolly to purchase put me behind with moving. Which I had paid 3 men to meet me at my house to move my stuff and they were paid by the hour. Which led me to paying them an extra hour for waiting on me to get a dolly. Poor experience overall and will not recommend them in future.

49.00 was too expensive for an hour of use.. We stood in the parking lot for the transaction. The man who came out was nice and handled Everything quickly but it was awkward standing in the parking lot to do it. Never got to go in the building.

1 Stop Pawn isn't a pawn shop any longer, but it is a wonderful place to drop off a trailer or truck after a hard day's work. Friendly, efficient and just neighborly, I am glad we closed out this U-Haul trip at this location. Thanks!

The location was ok, but the truck needs to be work on .y husband had to fight the truck over 500 miles with the tires and possibly the transmission problem but the drop off location was sending the truck to check it out.

This has been the worse uhaul experience I’ve ever had. I am writing a letter that outlines the shitty customer service and the disaster that was this reservation. Never again will I use uhaul and I will trash the company every chance I get.
