We called the uhaul 1-800 number to make reservation. This location was the only location that had the biggest uhaul available. Upon arrival we met with the lady that stated the big uhaul was stucked in mud so I had to get the one next to it I knew I was gone need to make two loads then some I didn't want to do because my funds was low. Didn't receive a discount on nothing. And still end up paying over a $100. Very dissatisfied. But overall no problems.Edd H.
My understanding was that the deposit was supposed to be given back from what I remember a couple of years ago but instead I got charged the fee. So unfortunately that was my only concern was that when did they started taking the deposit for rental of the uhaulRotisha C.

I was recently a burn/arson victim and I could only salvage a few things to move in my new place I went to 165 South Storage I have been dealing with them for years when Mr Fred was there for my storage and Uhaul needs I I needed to pick up a few thing that I could salvage and take them to my new location which was RIGHT down the street from 165 Storage I was gone for ONLY an 1 1/2 hour when I got back to return my keys he checked the odometer and said I went 60 miles AIN'T NOOO WAY I WENT 60 MILES PACKED UP A TRUCK AND MOVED ITBTO ANOTHER HOUSE AND IT TOOK 1 1/2 HOUR HE CHEATED ME OUT OF MY MONEY AND I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THEIR BUSINESS I am so heartbroken bcuz untrusted the guy with the glasses to be fair and he wasnt I am NEVER doing BUSINESS with that place again and yes I passed the WORD so that others won't fall victim to what I did....angela G.

The office area is a small storage bin and smells of urine. My trucks looked to be in good shape but had been smoked in. I didn't request a nonsmoking truck, nor do I know if they can honor those requests. For a last minute job it was affordable and relatively easy.Elizabeth M.

This was not my orginal chocie for pick up was made to go nearly 10 miles out of my way to pick up at this destination. For a total of 18 miles out of the way and was charged for ir. No reflection on the loctaion but Uhaul all together.mathilda F.

We were charged for gas when we filled the Uhaul back to the amount re received it in. We was also charged $111 the first day then recharged $185 2 days later after drop off.Robert L.
Fred, the proprietor, was able to get my wiring harness working, so I give him high marks. The office is a mess and the location is hard to identify as a Uhaul rental site. If the weather had been bad, it would have been a horrible experience.Michael W.

Not where I would choose to pick up trailer. Bad part of town and trailer had no crank to lift it. Worst experience ever and will not use uhaul again. Uhaul sent me from the convenient location I'd chosen online, to this horrible location in the next town over.Jeff K.
I had furniture pads reserved for my move, only to get to the pick up location and none there for me. Fortunately we located some at another location. The facility was less than desirable as far as cleanliness and organization is concerned.april E.

I placed a reservation for a pickup down the street. My reservation was transferred 15-20 mins away to a location where I did not feel safe. The yard was full of broken down cars with windows broken out. The first building I entered was abandoned and had been broken into and vandalized. The "new" office was around the corner with another establishment inside of a storage building. The man was very friendly; however, he could not navigate the "new" system very well. I waited for 45 mins while he tried to get the transaction processed. He eventually called someone else who ran it through their system. While he was giving the other person my credit card info, another customer stood in the doorway listening to all of my cc info...not secure. Like I said, the man was very nice but the service from start to finish at this location was not good. I did not choose this location for a pickup and did not appreciate being sent there. I still do not have a contract or receipt with my payment. I received an emailed receipt today from U-Haul that showed $0.00. I have to do the same thing in 3 months and will consider another provider.Glenn E.

I was VERY unhappy with UHaul's service. I reserved a truck near my twins' college in Louisiana. I was told that there were no trucks available in Monroe or West Monroe and to pick up a truck in a town 30 minutes before Monroe. When I got to the UHaul pick up site, it was an abandoned store and I couldn't reach the people on the phone, nor could the people at the regional office help me very much. I spent over 45 minutes sitting on the side of the road waiting for the issue to be resolved. I then received a phone call from a lady in another town, which was very much out of the way from Monroe. Eventually, a truck was brought to a place outside of Monroe, over 20 minutes from the twins' house. I was told I would get a discount, but it wasn't posted. The moving pads I ordered were not in the truck nor did the UHaul/storage place have any. By this time we were well past the time to be at the house and the landlord was calling since we were very late to walk through the house with her, and she had other houses to go to. Eventually the issues were partially resolved. I had to go later that night to another place to pick up the pads. When I got to the UHaul/tattoo place and asked about the pads, I was told "yeah, they're outside". I had to go out and find the pads myself. This place had NO customer service. I was told I would be receiving a refund, but so far I haven't seen it. On Wednesday at 11;37 AM, I was sent an email to my account at work stating that I needed to pick up the truck at a different location 23 minutes later. I was traveling on the interstate and had no idea that this email was sent. Even if I had gotten the email, there would have been no way to pick up the truck, since I was not from that area and had no idea where that town was located (apparently it is 45 minutes south of Monroe). The people at the Columbia and 165 UHaul places were nice; however, the reservation I made online was totally useless. Packing and moving the twins home was very stressful; I was counting on UHaul to make it a bit easier, but instead UHaul made it extremely stressful. I will think twice before using UHaul to move again.JONI M.

The owner was extremely rude, called me a liar twice when I complained that my truck was supposed to be ready at 10:30 , not 1:30 pm. I was paying two men by the hour to move me, so I really got screwed in the deal because we were at least two hours late. I feel I deserved a refund of some sort, instead they gave me an extra 50 miles and an extra day, neither of which I needed.Then when I returned the truck, it turns out there was no extra day at all. However, the place I returned it was very nice. But I won't use UHaul again. I will go with Ryder or any other company. This was the worst service I have ever had with a supposedly reliable company.HELEN S.
We had to wait on someone to show up to get our rental. He did not specify a time for pick up to us other than we needed to be there before they closed at one. We made it there around 11. When he got there he was nice. But, having to wait when we had already driven 5 hours wasn't on out to do list and put us behind schedule. When we opened the back of the truck and the ramp we discovered it wasn't very clean as well as thumb tacks on the floor. There were also ashes and cigarette buts left in the cab of the truck.AMANDA W.

Was a very poor experience with uhaul. This was not the location we were supposed to get the truck at. After we were confirmed we went to pick up the truck and they didn't have it. The lady was rude but did call this location and they happened to have a truck. The man at this location was very nice. The truck however was horrible and took several tries to crank. This location was fine. What I had a problem with was that this wasn't our original location. We waited at first location for an hour and a half, someone finally showed up and then we find out the truck is not even there. We then have to go to another location across town and get a 10' smaller truck then was orinally reserved a month ago. We were promised $50 for the reservation not being fulfilled and extra mileage because the location was 20 miles one way out of the way! And nothing of the short has yet to be given as promised!!!KACI T.

After being called 18 hours or so before pick up time and being informed there were no trucks available in our area (after we had reserved a truck for that area a week earlier) things went downhill. Had storage unit packed with things to move 600 miles. Had planned to load the truck and car that afternoon and leave the following morning. No truck and dolly made this impossible. 18 hours or so after planned pick up, We were notified that the rep had found us a truck. I still paid full price for the rental after all the trouble of us trying to find another truck from anyone. Thanks for all the extra stress and delays. I still have things to be moved from the same location and will probably require 2 trips. U-Haul will not be contacted again from anyone I know for as long as I can help them. Thanks again. P.S. I had no place to sit at this place while doing paper work. .the office was very uncomfortable, the building was crowded, I could see installation coming out the walls, trash on the floor, and the customer service was poor.
