Fortunatley i knew what to do with the trailer and hook up but no one explained it so a person unaware might have a bit of problem. Otjerwise all good and freindly service.

The location we got the trailer from didn't give us the right trailer As a result when we dropped the trailer off in Guelph They called me 2 days later telling me we never dropped the trailer off It took quite a while for them to figure out the problem We rented a 5x8 trailer we ended getting a 6x12 she dosnt fux the paper work so was a shit show not good and nerve racking

When your workers quote a price they should at least have some knowledge of what they are doing. After paying the quoted $230 they wanted another $100 when i returned it. The truck was so terrible i got stuck in very little snow in the middle of the street in ottawa, several times!

The truck we rented was not clean inside the cab. When we returned the truck, the initial mileage was not correct and they tried to charge us almost double of the initial estimate. The people working there did their best to accommodate us and help correct the problem, but the overall UHaul rental system doesn't seem very good. We also had trouble when we were reserving the truck because of issues with the U-Haul website. Overall I was not impressed and I will not rent from U-Haul again.

It took almost 30mins to get my deposit back from this location, and the employee had to call his boss at my request...I only had the trailer for a few hours, but he was determined to charge me for 2 days...The phone call to his boss resolved this issue, as the boss was the one that rented it to me that afternoon, and i did get my deposit back, but not without added stress to an already stressful move and a very long day.

gotta have a better 24/7 system. Keys were supposedly in truck but truck was locked Once I called and drove to a uhaul/pickup/gas station that would help me with a new truck, my truck was covered in snow, didn't have much washer fluid in it, maybe half. (Put my own stuff in it), and the driver side window wiper was broken and was a nightmare drive with, on 400 series highway with basic weather conditions.

Location had an untrained cso managing rentals on a computer program she never used. At first had a reservation under friend's name, but it couldn't be used because it kept defaulting toa 2 day rental, it was a Saturday, computer thought shop was closed on Sunday so only wanted to give two day rental. So booked under my name, wouldn't let me book it as computer thought shop closed at 6pm, but so computer wouldn't let me book, shop closed at 9 pm. It was 645 pm. Next step treat it as walk in nrw rental. Bigger mistake, she was on a telephone the whole time talking to daytime agent, getting system to accept inputs. 8 pm now, and I needed the rental for 4 hours. Get some 24 hr processing support, what a waste of time. And she had the nerve to be upset with me about after a 75 min wait

The equipment was clean but we had problems with the heater/defroster inside the cab. The fan did not always work so at times we did not have heat blowing.

Your ads say rent and truck comes with tie downs and a dolly we got the truck only ! But very clean and my son said it was nice to drive !

Steering was loose, rough ride, no cruise control. It only had 73, 000 km too. I drive some heavy trucks too 3/4 and 1 ton and the ride better.

The customer service over the phone was an absolute desastor I had to find my own pick up location driving from Ontario to Quebec. They repeatedly gave the wrong info if it wasn’t the wrong trailer it’s the wrong location where they don’t have trailer for one way drop off. They refused to put me through to speak to a manger kept hanging up on me or push me back to the que. The worst customer service I have ever to deal with.

The Uhaul experience was terrible. I had reserved the reservation for a 1 week rental online. There was no paperwork issued everything was done on email even when I asked for the contract it was sent to my email. The contract which I couldn't look at the pick up location when renting was then signed on a digital pad and sent off. Somehow the contract was changed to only be for a 1 day rental without my knowledge but I paid the full cost of the original contract $120. We then went on holidays and were phoned pretty much 2-3 times everyday being told we are out of contract cannot drive with the trailer. We were in the middle of nowhere camping and could not do anything about this other then try and explain over the phone to whomever was calling. Each phone call ended with ok I will put it on the file and it will be ok. Then a few hours later we would receive another call form a different person going through the exact same details again. We would then call back to discuss but we were hung up on 3 times from different employees at Uhaul call center saying they didn't care. Very unprofessional and disappointing. This was extremely frustrating wile on vaction trying to relax. Then when I returned the trailer on the date that is was supposed to be back it took well over an hour in the store to get the details together so the trailer could be returned. They actually couldn't get them and wanted to charge us another $130 for it so they guy said just leave and we will get it sorted and send you the revised contract over email. I did as I had my family with me and sitting in the truck for hours at a gas station was not an option while the try to sort out the details which I had already completed and paid for in full. I was also told I would hear from the district manager which has still not happened and the way everything else went I'm sure I won't. This was an awful experience and I will never rent from U-haul again my wife and I are going to share our experience with friends family and throughout social media as we have not had anyone contact us or express any concerns or apologies for our time and efforts on the rental.

We were sent there - almost 2 hours away driving to pickup and then had to return to Montreal. When we got there the truck was not clean and we were there for 2 hours as there was only 1 employee running the store/gasbar and the uhaul. then she could not get the system to work. We were promised a discount (which at the end for all the extra time and driving is not enough).. we were not given the discount at that site and we were charged fully on the card. I was then told i would get the refund of over 130.00 upon delivery.. I was not. I was then told it would be applied to my card and i would have it in 3 - 5 business days.. it was not. I was then promised a cheque and was told it was mailed out that day and i would have it in 7 - 10 business days.. Guess what! I DID NOT!!! It is now over 15 business days.. the truck was returned before the end of May! I am beyond fed up!!! I want my money. With the move I am very short and this money should have never been charged. It is not a credit card... it was taken from my card as I used visa debit!!! This is money right out of my pocket!!! This is very very bad business!!!! I WANT MY MONEY!!!
