I reserved a 15' truck for pickup at 7 am. When I arrived, the system was very slow. They also didn't have a 15 foot truck available for me, only a 10' truck. I agreed to this, but let him know we'd probably now have to take more than one trip. There weren't other u-haul locations nearby open at 7 am and we had a group of friends to move our friend already put together. additionally, nobody called me on Saturday to confirm my Sunday reservation. The reservation guarantee indicates $50 credit if no one calls and the requested equipment isn't available. I asked about this and the rep indicated he couldn't help me with this and I'd have to call U-Haul directly.

I marked No for equipment clean and well maintained. The truck was clean, though the engine light was on, steady, not blinking. It was a bit unnerving to take it, though the gas station attendant thought it would be OK, as long as it did not start to blink. I got gas and they were far on how much I needed to add back into the tank. Good experience, just wonder how often a mechanic looks at the trucks or they gas an oil change.

Moms attic leaks got rust and water on my possessions as it rained today. The box truck i rented was supposed to be 17’ was given 15’ Will go through another outfit next time this was the worst experience through u haul i have ever experienced! Moving is stressful enough!

Although not the location's fault, this location was unaware of my reservation due to an acknowledged glitch in the corporate reservation system. That point aside, this location followed through with the equipment rental in a professional manner. Total check-out time was about 40 minutes. The fuel tank was under 1/4 full which was odd given that the location is a fuel station. The vehicle didn't appear to be cleaned out at all. Some old blankets and candy wrappers were found along with a dolly that I did not want to pay for and asked them to take back before I took possession. There was an unusually heavy amount of tree sap on the windshield, but overall, the vehicle was functional. When I returned the vehicle, it took more than 15 minutes to check it back in. At first, I was challenged about the fuel level, but because it was above 1/4 tank, the challenge was dropped. My rental experience certainly wasn't that great. I think charging $1.09 per mile is a little excessive for the industry. Even though the location is very convenient from my house, I don't think that I'll rent from them again unfortunately.
