Vehicle was clean and in good order except that the â€œcheck engineâ€ light came on w/in 5 miles of the pickup location. It didn't appear to be a major issue, but was concerning that it was on a vehicle with less than 19,000 miles on it. I checked the gas cap, but it was on as prescribed. When I returned the vehicle ahead of schedule, I let the agent know that it was on and that the vehicle had a bit more gas in it than when I left. Overall, the experience was as expected and I'd rent from U-Haul again when needed. Thanks for a hassle-free experience.Thomas W.

The folks here are super friendly and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone. The U-Haul website process is terrible. Why bother providing an option to select where I would like to rent a trailer from if you are unable to guarantee a pickup from that location. A day before notification is not enough time to make a change in venue when attempting to plan for moving. The website should offer a couple of choices in the surrounding area to select from. I would not have chosen this location as it was out of the way. However, with one day to take or turn down once plans are made put me in a position to have to take the option given. Apparently the U-Haul system is okay with folks not honoring the agreement in returning the trailer on the day the original contract was created. This is the second time I have used a U-Haul trailer. Next time I may just go and buy my own trailer. I would not recommend the U-Haul website to anyone.Robert G.

The UHaul drivers license smart phone camera picture did not work, even though my phone had camera sharing on my browser. This was not the rental location problem, but UHaul IT issue. Also, please require email confirmation when reserving online. I had a typo, so the rental location never received my reservation in advance, requiring a longer rental process.John A.

I went through the trouble of the pre-checking in in order to save time and avoid personal contact with the Uhaul representative because of COVID-19 and I actually spent more time checking in with a rep who didn't where his mask properly in a small enclosed area. I had to resubmit my credit card and driver's license, something I already did on line. A terrible system, especially considering today's environment. I also doubt seriously on if the inside of the truck cab was sanitized as there was a lot of grime.MICHAEL,EDWARD P.

The pickup rental agent parked in the front of the small station, blocking the access to the trailer. Was able to get to it, but took some maneuvering, which would have been avoided had she been more aware in her parking. More importantly, she did not tighten the hitch to the ball when she hooked up the trailer. It came loose when I left. Very dangerous as it was not screwed down at all. I was able to get it back on and tighten it because the chain held.Lindsay B.

Tony, who set up the rental for us almost 10 days in advance of rental date, only asked if I had a working cell phone. What he needed to ask me is; Does my phone have locator set up. I do not have locator on my cell because I choose not to have a gmail account. My wife AND I NOT ONLY LOST 2 AND HALF HOURS, but the truck I initially contracted for was not the one available. The 15 foot truck I was given had 4 rear wheels which caused all of our tolls to double due to classification #2, rather than a passenger vehicle as well as additional gas money. Budgets are important to us. If it were not for DJ, the owners assistant, who arrived at 8am, we would have cancelled the rental on site. He was very pro-active and led me through the process using his phone and help get us on the road.JERRY C.
