The location was the worst experience ever, morebthan 70 minutes trying to get to the gated lot, to find no instructions for parking my pov, and to find the key is out side that gated area with another 15 minutes walking. And there are no parking marking on the pavement. All trucks parking on the grass and signs of do not park here fire lane is all over the place. Instructions for the app to get the entry passcod is horrible horrible especially the area doesn't have good coverage for data, I had to drive away to get signal and follow the most confusing instructions. It took way too long. Without the people on the phone who I got disconnected with many times due to bad signals I wouldn't be able to get the truck that day.

We have been renting a storage unit from the 208 Boat and Self Storage for over 15 years and have been very pleased. We would highly recommend them to anyone. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and having the store so close to the storage facility is very convenient.

I rented a truck and car trailer to transport my broken down car from Virginia to New York, I didn’t even expect how convenient and very profitable it was, we saved a lot of money.

Staff and owners were very friendly and professional. I felt like I was talking with one of my own family members. When I picked up the trailer, the one assigned to me was not there and they immediately provided me with another one and was very apologetic for the small wait time. When I returned the trailer I was having trouble with the code to the gate and the owner saw me and immediately came to provide assistance. I will definitely be using them again.

The whole process to get the truck was backwards. It gave me code to get in the gate to verify the truck. Then the gate locked and then gave me a code to get the key from the store next door. But I was locked inside of the gate. So I had to call the store to get a code to get out to get the key. But by that time the code to get the key had disappeared. Then come to find out the key wasn't even in the box, it was still under the register. Fast forward, I finally got into the truck. I rented an appliance Dolly. I left to go get the appliances but while driving I thought to myself "the key wasn't in the box, the Dolly probably isn't even in here." So I had to pull over and sure enough, no Dolly. I had to turn back around to get them to get me a Dolly out of their locked shed. I will not be renting from this location again.

The trailer hitch was stuck on the ball of my hitch and I couldn't get it off. George, the owner of the facility, brought a jack to free it. He was quite helpful.

208 BP storage is great! Always kept clean and well lighted for evening use. Wonderful employees at the storage as well. Thank you for 3 units and 3 months of keeping my items stored and secured!! Excellent facility

The Back of the Storage Facility was Lined with No Parking Signs which made it very hard to back a boat into the Storage Unit in Nov. without taking out a sign or 2 & I had to disconnect and position by hand and reconnect to my truck to back it in stright. I Voiced my concern about the signs and 6 months later I went to remove my boat out and only 2 No Parking Signs were displayed *begining & End*of Driveway, No Problem removing the boat from the Unit with the truck, had to drive in the grass a little and avoid the security fence, ground was hard with No Issues. Thanks for taking down a half of dozens of the No Parking Signs. Hopefully 2 Reminders are enough for people. (AWESOME FACILITY) Gated/Fenced with Key Pad. Thanks George. (John)

I was given the wrong place to go to to pick up a van I got there they didn’t have any vans. They only had trucks I was quoted a price that I was overcharged. I went from there to Centerville and was charged over $300. I don’t understand that.

The Uhaul website could not take the picture of my DL. I refreshed the system and was NEVER ABLE to get the picture accepted. So, I had to go in to BP Courthouse Rd and thank God, the sweet,patient and caring young lady was able to put my information into the computer. Fix your website or don't send people to it, when it does NOT work. Thanks to 208 BP, I was able to rent my truck in a timely manner. A special thanks to 208 BP! Great customer service! We stored our 45ft RV here for about two years. It is a good place to do that. My only negative comment is that the area we were assigned, B3, had a large stack of wood about 6ft high that was seriously leaning towards our assigned area. I never parked the RV in that spot. I parked in a spot near the end of row B that was open. The area is very wet and muddy for days after a ran and this year, the weeds were waist high all around the RV. The owners and staff are great and even with the comments above, I would still recommend this storage business to anyone that is looking for decent and reasonably price storage for their RV.

I preregistered with hopes that it would make the pick up process faster but that was not the case. With the online pickup you have multiple more questions, that could have easily been answers prior and the cell service out there is horrible which made it very frustrating to complete the process.

Terrible check-in experience, took almost 45 minutes from the time I first entered until I was pulling off with the trailer. The gentleman was very nice but kept going back and fourth between the Uhaul computer and the regular register throughout the entire time period to help other customers.

Trailer brake fluid was bone dry, rusted, and empty. Brakes did not work. Serviced with brake fluid. Brakes need repaired. Tires were under inflated.

My drop off location changed to another that was over an hour from my house (40 min from my choice location). This was a last minute change that was very inconvenient and a closer one could have been chosen in Charlottesville. When I arrived at the new location the person checking me in had never done Uhaul and tried to give me a truck. I rented a 5x8 pull behind. Once we finally got my check in completed, she sent a young guy out with me to hook up the trailer. We got to the trailer and he admitted to me he had never hooked a trailer up before. Thankfully I had. However, having rented before I know the employee is supposed to hook it onto the person's car. I had to hook up the trailer and teach him how to as well. Uhaul is very lucky that I know how to do this however it was not my job to teach your employees how to so theirs!

My pickup location was changed the day before pickup. I picked a location closest to my home to avoid excess travel. It was changed to 15 miles away. I also chose to pickup via my cell phone so we could get an early start prior to store opening. On am of load day the keys to my truck were not placed in pickup box. Jesse in customer service was great in trying to solve problem but this caused serious delays on load day. I was also charged over $7.00 for 2 gallons of gas when I had properly fueled up a few miles near drop off location. I was given a $50.00 refund for poor service but this did leave me not trusting UHaul for my next move!

This is a very nice storage facility. We stored our RV here and had it not been for the distance from our home we would still be storing our RV here. The monthly cost was very fair and the combination of value, safety, and amenities will be hard to find at other places. George was always very friendly and willing to help with any of our needs. Would recommend this facility to any of my friends and family.

Kim was awesome! UHAUL customer care had been terrible to me and I am considering never using them again except for her excellent customer care. My pickup date and location was changed twice with NO NOTICE. No phone call, text, or email. I had to call UHAL to find out I was being moved not once but twice. The assisting staff here were also very kind and helped me greatly in loading my equipment and resolving technical issues on UHAUL's end. I am very gracious towards Kim and her staff. They were amazing in a difficult set of circumstances on a Sunday afternoon.

This is not a problem with the pick up location itself, but rather, the pick up/scheduling process: My pick up location was moved 3 times in the 3 days leading up to the pick up. I ended up having to drive an hour away to get the truck. It was a lot of added stress to have it moved so many times, each time I had to adjust my plans, only to have the same thing happen again the next day with a new location assignment.

The personnel here were very friendly and helpful, Kim went out of her way to accommodate me. However, I had an issue with the number of days on the reservation (3) and what was recorded on on the contract paperwork (2) at the pickup location. Not sure why that happened, when I realized it I called U-Haul (18 minutes on hold) and got it corrected or so I thought. Comments continued in Drop off location.
