Kim was awesome! UHAUL customer care had been terrible to me and I am considering never using them again except for her excellent customer care. My pickup date and location was changed twice with NO NOTICE. No phone call, text, or email. I had to call UHAL to find out I was being moved not once but twice. The assisting staff here were also very kind and helped me greatly in loading my equipment and resolving technical issues on UHAUL's end. I am very gracious towards Kim and her staff. This is not a problem with the pick up location itself, but rather, the pick up/scheduling process: My pick up location was moved 3 times in the 3 days leading up to the pick up. I ended up having to drive an hour away to get the truck. It was a lot of added stress to have it moved so many times, each time I had to adjust my plans, only to have the same thing happen again the next day with a new location assignment.LEONORE C.

The personnel here were very friendly and helpful, Kim went out of her way to accommodate me. However, I had an issue with the number of days on the reservation (3) and what was recorded on on the contract paperwork (2) at the pickup location. Not sure why that happened, when I realized it I called U-Haul (18 minutes on hold) and got it corrected or so I thought. Comments continued in Drop off location.John L.

I got there and had no indication that was a Uhaul location minus seeing one truck. There was no signal out there to properly check in the truck and I went with another person who was unable to assist. After they found the key it let me know there was no way the truck had been cleaned/sanitized since drop off which was really scary. It just was not pleasant at all. As a matter of fact it was very inconvenient and made me late for my actual move in time.Angela B.

First I was sent to a place that closed at my pick up time. Had to drive 30 miles out of my way to get a trailer. Then the computer at the new location said my truck wasn't big enough even though I had the same trailer last week.Michael Q.

Person at this location very helpful. We did not know about the straps being broken until we picked up vehicle and tried to secure it. He stated we should let U-Haul know that we had to purchase straps to secure vehicle. We were concerned because we received the equipment that way.michael F.

I cannot stress enough the fact that 208 variety store located in spotsylvania is the GO TO for ANY uhaul concerns and business. They are well equipped with all the nice uhaul trucks. They run smooth and the people there were very accommodating. The owners were very informative and helped me with all my questions!Jacob R.

We were directed thru uhaul customer service to use the app but this location did not have cell service nor WiFi which made this process very difficult but thankfully a stranger let us use his phone which did have service because he had a different carrier the overall experience was very stressful and upsettingjustin M.

Our tow dolly was not at our requested location, so we had to drive an extra 3 hours (round trip) to get the tow dolly. This created lots of extra stress for us on our trip, and does not reflect the service we received at 208 Boat and Self-Storage. The service we received was understandable, given that the clerk assisting us at pickup had never processed a uhaul reservation before.Jason L.
We did a 24/7 pick up nearly 50 miles from where we had made the reservation to pick it up. The truck was not left with the indicated gas level or miles. It did not have the dollies we had rented. And it had been â€œrepairedâ€ from previous damage such that it was not even water-resistant.mark C.

Not change the pickup location to over an hour away from the original pickup site. While the staff at the pickup site was outstanding, it was extremely bad business for uhaul to change the pickup site 1 day prior to our move. Not the first time, but normal change is using within 30 minutesStacy M.

I am extremely disappointed in my U-Haul experience. My pick up location had changed and I did not find out until late in the day. I could've pick up the trailer at the location they put me at earlier in the day and been on my way. I am not happy I was given a $50 credit however I feel as though I should have not of paid for the trailer at all. Not sure I will ever rent from U-Haul again terrible terrible experience highly highly disappointed .LISA R.

Hidden charges. Add them in to the cost already. Environmental fee? Really. 39.99 turned into 156.00 for two nights. Be upfront on these cost so people can make an informed decision. Have all rental equipment available that UHaul online says that you are able to rent. Because you didn't have all of the equipment for my reservation Customer Service called and informed me that your location did not have the requested equipment. This was the beginning of the "rabbit hole" of issues that I had with my UHaul experience. Next I had to go to Pendleton's Outdoor Power LLC which did not have the auto transport but did have the truck (DC). After taking some time to get customer service to find another auto transport, at your location, Pendleton's couldn't print the actual contract and wasted much of my time. Finally, I pick up the auto transport and it was for a different price then the online reservation quoted. Despite the customer service issues the equipment worked great. I have already spoke with UHaul customer service which gave me reference # 1534807.Graham W.

Staff excellent and professional, the uhaul computer system was down when I went to pickup car hauler at 11AM. I had the option of a manual contract or come back at 6pm and get a $20 discount on rental equipment. Over all very satisfied with Uhaulcliff H.

only issue i have is UHAUL it's self recommending a place that was over 20 minutes away for a return instead of the closest to the address where someone is taking there things. it was way out the way. the next day after dropping off the truck we found a UHAUL rental place literately 5 minutes from the house we moved our things to.johnathan R.

Their was a problem because I was under the understanding that when I got their I could rent a storage place for the first months rent free if I use U-Haul but found out that it is only with certain storage place which your web site is not customer friendly in getting this information to them correctly I did make a call to your customer service last night and they showed me how on your web it is located. For other customers please re look at this. I came from Ga and now in VA. Very poor on your part. Also when I arrived this phone # which is on their web site is not the right number for their store and that also was a confusion on your part. because I called the number and talked with someone and it was not them. Which I called the number and it did go to their store but is not their phone number. So either you have pulled a first one on them or you have a issue with your communications.
