Touwanda MThe equipment was not inspected. to go all the way to the back to pick up the truck because the truck was not ready.. I also asked the manager there to give me a written notice from the truck because it had damages on it, and I did not want to be responsible for that and he could not even do that for me. This place a poor rating because of the workers there you guys need to improve your management for this location thank you very much.

EDGAR DThe Cargo Van I rented to me had a low-inflated tire and the warning light was on. The tire had 24 pressure and the others had 46 psi. I did not know until after I left the rental site. I immediately returned to the Ace Hardware Rental site and the Staff told me to call Roadside Assistance because they could not add air to the tire, and did not have air to do so. I asked how do you rent a van that needs air in the tire and tell the customer to go call Roadside Assistance for air?! Also, there was no washer fluid to clear the front window. Also, it would be great for the rental site to inform the customer of where to park the truck when they are closed because the parking lot is inside a locked gate. You have to park in a nearby take-out restaurant lot.

Enjili RCab of truck was dirty, food and dirt on floor . Cigarette ashes in cup holders. Loading area had food and dirt on floor. Truck needs breaks, you could hear the break pads rubbing on the calipers on driver side. Overall it was ok.

BRYONNA BThe gentleman receiving the vehicle took great pride in being overly gleeful about the slightly under gas refill charge, even after I explained that I brought the truck back on Sunday and they were closed and I had to come back the next day and used the gas to come back. I will not shop at that Ace Hardware/Uhaul agent again. I will dispute the gas charges.

Sarah WI wasn’t told where to park after hours . I rented the truck for one day but I was charged for two days . No one walked me out to the car to ensure everything worked . Front driver tire felt like it was going to pop off while driving . And to top it off I called the 1-800 uhual number they were very rude and offered no help at all .

Jerald ZI was told they close at 5pm. My rental ended at 730. I was told I can return the uhaul to the lot and drop keys in the drop box. Upon arriving at 615, they had my personal property, my car, locked bring a gate that secures their lot. I never received a message nearing closing in regards to my car needing to be moved. I also was not told that if I left my car on their lot after 5pm it would be locked in their lot until next business day. I tried to call NW UHAUL HQ and was in hold for 1 hr. Definitely would not recommend this location. I have to get up at opening to get my car back.
Clarice CThis location was great but I had originally reserved and paid a month earlier for the Munster Stor-All location which left me a message the day before pick to say they had to transfer my truck pickup to Schererville location. Then upon arrival I found out they never submitted the transfer therefore there was no truck available and inconvenienced multiple people, added more mileage to trip which had to be paid by myself and also put an entire family hours behind schedule with an out of state move on top of forcing an individual to call off of work due to the changes. The Munster Stor-All location had absolutely no consideration for the UHaul customers and as a result will most likely not be using in the future. I have rented multiple times in the past few years and extremely disappointed!
