I’m writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the ongoing issues I’ve consistently encountered at one of your dealer locations: **2nd Opinion Car Service LLC** 5261 B Gender Rd Canal Winchester, OH 43110 As a loyal U-Haul customer, I’ve used your services multiple times over the years. However, every experience I’ve had with this particular location has been problematic to the point that I am seriously reconsidering doing business with U-Haul in the future if this location remains my only option. To provide some context: 1. **Canceled Reservations Without Justification:** I’ve had previous reservations abruptly canceled by this dealer, causing major inconvenience and last-minute changes to my plans. 2. **Harassing Calls for Slight Delays:** On more than one occasion, I’ve received multiple calls when I was just a few minutes behind on returning the truck — often because I was responsibly refueling it before drop-off. This level of pressure feels unnecessary and unprofessional. 3. **Incorrect Rental Duration Practices:** Most recently, during my latest rental, I scheduled the truck for **a full 24-hour period**, with my original pickup around **10:30 a.m.** I later called the location to inform them I would arrive closer to **11:30 a.m.**, which they confirmed was fine. However, upon return the following day around 11:20-11:30 a.m., the representative claimed I was **late** and insisted I didn’t receive the full 24-hour rental. When I reminded him of our prior agreement, he dismissively responded, “You don’t get the full 24.” This is not only incorrect but also completely dismissive of proper customer service and standard rental terms. These repeated issues have made what should be a smooth and reliable experience feel stressful and unpredictable. It’s disappointing to see a U-Haul-affiliated location operate with such disregard for professionalism and consistency. I kindly ask that you look into this dealer's practices and address these concerns appropriately. I’d appreciate follow-up communication from your team regarding the actions being taken to ensure no other customers have to experience similar treatment. John MWe were overcharged by 2 gallons of gas even though we left the truck with more fuel than when we picked it up. We drove only 11 miles (odometer was wrong going out by 1 mile) and yet were billed for 2 gallons of gas. Ridiculous. We have photos of before & after for both odometer & gas. Checkout process is very slow. The reservation was in my name, but he deferred to my husband and listed him as primary driver, when I had him listed as additional driver, and when he made this change, he didn't update my husband's last name as I kept my maiden name. Felt very disrespected. Office/ counter area is a mess/ filthy; highly disorganized. Trash cans overflowing, loose auto tools & supplies laying all over the place, a loaf of bread and used fork with smear marks were on the desk as we waited to get checked out. Not a professional, welcoming environment at all.
John BThe sales person tried to upgrade, stating I could not use it for our purposes. U-Haul website said they were compatible. When I had my (male) friend go with me, we drove away with it. He yelled at me on the phone stating he had over 40 years experience. My friend has transported cars all over the us for over 50 years. That guy was rude and disrespectful to me as a woman!’
Jerry SI didn't use equipment but inside trailer was clean cab however had the panel that is by the gas peddle off and the exhaust system had fallen off the guy told me but didn't tell me about the inside it was a hot hot ride all day cause burn on my leg ankle area from the heat..not happy

James RThis is not a perfect location. The operator of it works alone, so visually, it may not be appealing to many. But the man knows his business and I have used his trucks many times over the years. He may be a little gruff at times, but if any of us had to deal with some of the customers that I have seen him deal with we'd be gruff at times as well. Cut him a little slack and get a little acquainted with him and you'll find a small businessman who will go out of his way to work with you or anyone else.

Jake MSO JENNIFER A MANAGER WAS A MAJOR CUNT. SHE WAS NO HELP AND VERY ARGUMENTATIVE. I AM DISGUSTED AT HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THIS WOMAN WAS. SHE WAS NO HELP TO MY SITUATION. I HAD TO PAY EXTRA MONEY FOR MILEAGE BECAUSE IT WAS NOT DISCUSSED WITH MY THE GENTLEMAN WHO WAS HELPING ME. THEY DOWN SIZED THE TRUCK I RESERVED AND TO A SMALLER ONE WHICH MADE ME HALF TO DO 2 TRIPS. THEY WOULD NOT REMIBURSE ME FOR THE GAS THAT WAS IN THE TRUCK AS I LEFT IT WITH MORE THAN I PICKED IT UP. UHAUL IS A RIP OFF. YOU ARE BETTER TO GO WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. ESPECIALLY IF THEY TRAIN THE MANAGERS WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU TO SCREAM AT YOU ON THE PHONE AND ACT UNHELPFUL AND LIKE A HUGE BITCH. I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN AND WILL CONTINUE POSTING BAD REVIEWS.
Jennifer CGuy showed up when we were dropping the truck off (place is closed Sunday and the pickup/drop-off is self service), asking questions about mileage after we had already completed the drop off steps through the uhaul app. Was somewhat confrontational and made the whole process more difficult because I was having to answer his questions on top of everything else. No reason for him to even be there, they're closed on Sunday. Let people follow the self service process and leave them alone.
LANHAM PVehicle was not cleaned out and additional equipment requested was not there.
Gregory MAndy was very attentive to my needs but when heard i was in the military he offered to give me a military rate when i returned the truck. Andy reached out to me prior to my rental period to make sure all my bases were covered. i would recommend that anybody in this area to use his location and always return things better than when you got them and lets all pay it forward when we can.
jeffrey wThis place really is one of U-Hauls Better locations. The man who runs the place knows his job and goes over things well with customers. I have watched him on several occasions deal with customers ahead of me who would test my patience to the maximum. I've read reviews where he is called rude,... and frankly, I would challenge anyone to maintain a pleasant demeaner all the time and not get exasperated at times. He has always been pleasant and professional with me. Perfect? no,... but I see no reason to go elsewhere. He always has the most trucks has worked with me and others. If you catch him on a bad day or after he has delt with someone difficult or less than nice, then cut him some slack, he is human, like all of us. He appreciates repeat customers and will work with you. He has earned my long-term business when I need a truck or trailer
Andres FYour app is glitchy when uploading photos. The return process took way to long due to issues with the app. Issues experienced: the app shut down mid return, photos that were uploaded disappeared and needed to be retaken.
