The lady that rented to me was very rude and very short and charged me for insurance which I did not want. Upon returning the vehicle she was very rude again very short and would not check me out unless I called uhaul and tell them I kept truck an extra day. Horrible customer service!!!

I had to wait in line behind gasoline customers to even get to ask about the equipment after getting there. No one knew what was going on. It took a long time. They didn't know where the trailer was and tried to send me to another location. Saying that wasn't them. After proving it was with my email. Play said oh we don't have that.I pointed that outside there was the trailer. They said okay take it then. I came back in to ask how to hook up the lights, and they said they don't know how or with what ??? We pulled away and went to Ace Hardware. They did not have the equipment to make this work. They did have the right size ball, which we had to get before we could load up. Even though the lady on the phone could not tell me what size the ball needed to be. Then we had to go back.We were not equipped with tools.had to change outthe ball size. We had to beg the workers at Ace hardware to use tools.When we went back & hooked up the light hookup it would not reach our truck! The employee inside the gas station did not know what to do to help us. She had to call her boss well.I waited behind more gas paying customers. Apparently he only speaks spanish. said he would call back to the gas station! We waited and never heard go back. I had to leave to meet the other moving party. Went to a different ace with the trailer to buy hookups, still would not work.We went to 4 different towns in that area. No trailer light hookup! We could not get on the highway like this unsafely. And cause an accident. Ended up having to get a hotel & stay overnight to look in the morning. The next morning, we had to unload the truck and put it where we picked it up at the gas station in umatilla on central Ave drop off. I do not feel that we should have to pay those charges as we were never told what size ball or type of electric hookup for lights and brakes, or that we would even need one., and if so what size extender to how many prongs??and or how long it needed to be??? This was a wasted day, not able to move out of storage had to put all contents back into storage unit! Get a hotel because it was not safe to travel without lights or break light hook up! I was told yesterday a manager would reach out to me over the phone and that has not happened as of yet!

I had a great experience with Uhaul, so, I don't have any improvements to suggest at this time.

Gas station. Uhaul had to use my phone for the transaction. Didn't have my glasses which made it difficult for me to see the information on my phone. I do not like using my phone for handling this type of transaction. I like dealing with people face to face. Did not receive a code to open the lock box. Gas attendant had to open. Once opened 1000 dead bugs were in the box and all over the keys. Gas attendant was helping customers and me at the same time which caused delays. this location should close.
