DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. DRIVE ANYWHERE YOU NEED TO TO AVOID THIS LOCATION. I have moved 24 times and have never had an experience as awful or ridiculous as this one. The owner does not know what he is doing and will make you cancel the reservation you make on online and redo everything. He did this to me as well as the couple in front of me. He also will use his personal phone to rekey your reservation. I called Uhaul customer service and was suppose to receive credit along with a call from the Regional Manager and have not received either one.

The inside floor of the rental truck was SLICK with oil and I fell and crushed! my ankle, requiring surgery. The owner did not have but one of the dollies I ordered for this move, having left out the most important one - the piano dolly. I called the day before to confirm everything was there ready and he sid YES. He didn't even check . I put $180 in gas in that truck, and due my horrific accident in the back of the truck, never drove it for my move. It was returned the next day on a FULL tank of gas, instead of 1/4 tank. This is the WORST experience I have EVER had with U-Haul !!!!!!

I calculated in advance that this rental was only going to cost around $40-50 once you factor in tax, etc. (I wasn't hauling much and I didn't have far to haul it.) The person who checked me in put the additional insurance on the contract for an extra $14. I asked if I could decline that additional coverage and he said it was already on the contract. Okay, whatever; I found that a bit irritating but didn't push the point. I hadn't looked up in advance whether that was required, though I suspect I actually was able to decline it. When I returned the truck after driving only 11 miles, I put 1.5 gallons of gas into the truck, which was more than enough to cover these miles since Uhaul says a 15 foot truck gets 10 miles per gallon. The attendant I returned the truck to (the same person who checked me in) then put an additional 2.3 gallons of gas into the truck and charged me over $6 per gallon for it! Even if I had put no gas in the truck--which again, I put 1.5 gallons in--2.3 gallons is too much to cover only 11 miles of driving. My entire bill went from $40 to $72. Would not recommend.

Truck was dirty, especially within the cab area but also I had to sweep out the box before use. While turning, the front end grumbled making me leery driving on I-95. Within the cab, the inside window was dirty, the dash was dirty, the floors extremely dirty and it had an unpleasant odor. Transmission column was clunky and it was difficult to find the gear, and removing the key was also difficult to find the sweet spot.

Clean the vehicles!! It was filthy inside and had a musty smell. I was comparing to enterprise when I rent cars, and this experience was pretty gross. It was also a very slow process to get the vehicle. I feel like more could have been done during the reservation. It took 30 minutes to get through the check in process..

Only one person working a gas station and she did not know much about the equipment or how to hook it up and didn't give me paperwork, saying "it was all online" and then lied and said the truck was full when it was at 3/4 of a tank-ish.

Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Before renting here I saw a lot of negative reviews about a $20 fee being added after they returned the truck. Follow the instructions and you won't be charged the additional fee. It clearly states on the U-Haul site and on the door when entering the building the process to return the U-Haul using your phone to avoid the $20 fee. It literally takes 2 minutes to check your U-Haul back in on the site. Truck was in excellent condition. Less than 20k miles on the odometer so if was like new. Will be back!

This location is very dishonest, and I will never patronize this location ever again. I had a 24hr rental picked up at 08:10 on 22Jan and returned at 07:45 on 23Jan, and they charged me for an extra day and after-hour charges. This isn't my first bad experience. I tried to get an early start due to open hours and availability but never again. Millers on Midlothian has always been my #1 location, and I will stick with them.

They did not attach the trailer correctly to the truck. We went to an official Uhaul location to get instructions and have them hook up the trailer correctly. They didn't have the supplies on my order and checked us out incorrectly. I received a phone call from Uhaul about 2 hours after picking up the truck and trailer asking why I didn't pick up the truck and trailer. 360 Express Mart put us in a very dangerous situation!!! They had no concern for our safety.

Ordered 5 packs of moving blankets back when I placed the order. Pickup location did not have any. Why if you order a week in advance would all the equipment not be there? Spent the next 6 hours driving through Richmond area to get the blankets. Very disappointed in Uhaul for not ensuring my contracted equipment was ready and making me run around to find them. Also never notified me in advance that there was an issue with not having everything I ordered.

I was charged 20 for after hours I picked the truck up at 10 am on Friday and almost 9 dollars for using a credit charged and it took forever and he kept waiting on other gas customers

Charged after hours service fee for no apparent reason, when returning the equipment early. Was warned by attendant who said he could not assist with my return that I would be charged 20 for dropping it off after hours if I didn't return it on my phone. I asked how to return it on my phone, he said call, I called the number on my contract and they said nothing else was required. I called the location this morning to ask about the charge and was told they have no control over it, I was referred to uhaul 800#, who referred it back to the location. Not a good experience - so far. I wont use this location again if this remains unresolved- its possible that they just have not reviewed it yet.

I currently have a screenshot showing my 2 day pre paid rental all I had to do was pickup at the location after I picked up I received a confirmation text showing I only had it for one day so I then called the customer support and debated it with them for a while after they told me I'm wrong while I am staring at my rental agreement. On top of that I called my drop off location to let them know of the change and they no longer even handle uhaul so I had to have it switched.

Authorization holds on my debit card, I was surprised they did that. With the current gas prices driving from one city to the next, I needed all the money I had. That was an expensive ride.

The only thing I could say negative about the experience is the truck was listed as having 7/8 of a tank of fuel at checkout and I noted just after leaving it was really at 3/4 of a tank. Not a big enough deal to go back, but probably cost an extra $15 when I had to fill up to that point upon return.

I used to rent from this place a lot. The day I decided to take my business somewhere else was when the attendants asked me to move the van I was renting, then go to my car (that was already parked behind the building - 2 spaces away from the van) and move my car into the van's parking space. Mind you it was raining. When I complained about the hassle they were putting me through they said they would tow my car if I didn't. I almost let them tow my car so I could take them to court for towing my car while i was doing business with them - plus they had no towing sign/warning. And one of them, the oldest, had the audacity to call me lazy for refusing to cooperate. I hope the owner of the gas station reads this review. In the meantime, i will drive few mile farther rather than doing business with your stinking attitude.

They need to come out and do a walk around when trucks are received back in. This makes the renter comfortable about what will be charged to their card that might not be their fault. They never walked around with renter when vehicle was signed in or out. Very concerning

CROOKED! Will screw you given the chance. I picked up a trailer at 4 PM and returned it at 6:30 PM. They close at 5 PM. I couldn't get my picture to upload, required by the app, to return at that time. I figured, no problem, I have the trailer for 24 hours, I'll just return in the morning. I woke up to my receipt being emailed charging me for an extra day and a $20 after-hours fee even though it was entered after they opened. I questioned the charges and was told to call UHaul if I didn't like it. They had no interest in correcting.

I was highly upset as I reserved a 20 foot truck for a 1-way move. The night prior to the move, I received a call that a 20' truck was not available for 1-way, but was for round-trip. So I changed my reservation to a round-trip move to keep the 20' truck. When I arrived to pickup, I was told this location doesn't even rent out 20' trucks and only had 15' trucks available even though I had an email confirmation from the previous night's phone call and reservation change confirming that I had a guaranteed reservation for a 20' truck. This caused several more trips to move than I had planned. Highly upset, and will use another company other than U-Haul in the future, as relatives have since told me they have had the same experience on multiple occasions. I'm not okay with a company that knows they have you in a tough situation just saying whatever you want to hear so that they can take your money. Will be recommending to friends/family that they do not use U-Haul for this reason.

Charge less for short local rental. Associate with franchises that excel in communication and push the others out. Make it easier to determine what equipment is where right now for use/rental. Repair your equipment rather than renting auto transports with clearance lights non-functional. Focus more on the customer transaction experience and less on sending 20-page contracts over and over in a mobile world. You have so much experience, resources, and opportunity to do better than an electronic CVS receipt..

I have just one complaint about how the system is set up. I thought that I might drive the truck at least 50 miles on my use on 09/08/2021, so I paid for 50 miles, but I only used 29 miles. I have yet to be reimbursed for this.

The inside of the truck was dirty. I took a video, because the check in would not allow me to upload but one picture. Of the driverside door storage. At check out, it ask if that truck was clean to rent to another family. I put no because of the condition I recieved the truck in. I was charged a 25.00 cleaning fee, for something that wasn't even my mess. There was a old wawa food wrapper in the lower middle console. The inside of that truck was gross. I thought there would be a higher standard with cleanliness with COVID. I have rented from other locations, and at least they mad sure the inside was clean.
