They rented me a broken vehicle that started over heating and was damaged

MAGDA PLocation is inside a flea market with no signs. Took me 30min just to find it. The truck i had was dirty. And the radio kept changing on its own.
Alyssa BWhen our Uber driver pulled in, it looked like an abandoned warehouse. I’m not sure what kind of business this is, but I didn’t see any uhauls anywhere. The Uber driver backed out and took us to another location… on our dime… on the clock. Why, because this place didn’t open until 10 am on a Sat. No one was there, no one answered the phone. We had an 8:30 am pickup. After driving to another uhaul place (also closed) I called the corporate number. They informed me the truck was at the orignal location. OK Where???? They told me the owner said it was parked behind the building. So, basically hiding. I had to get ANOTHER uber and drive back. We finally found it hidden in the back. You’d think the owner of this business would have reached out to let us know that since the whole establishment looks ran down and out of business. A simple text would have been appreciated. If you read this, please do this moving forward. I’m not from there! I wasn’t told it was an Easter Egg. Nothing. This is terrible customer service. I spent extra money and time on Ubers and my movers were waiting on me. Which now I’m late for that! This was a terrible experience. If you rent from this location, I highly suggest calling in advance to find out where the truck is hidden. The truck had a bunch of white dog hair in it.
Stacey SThis location is in a flea market. Good luck finding their office. I rented a truck from another location and it was changed 24 hours before to this location. At first they could not find my reservation, then said the truck was not there for my reservation. The truck showed up while I was there. The inside of the truck was not cleaned out.

Mamie TI reserved a dolly for my move but they gave the last one away to a customer right before me. The lady at the desk seemed like she didn’t want to help us get the key to the truck. The lady said she would remove the dolly from my reservation but never did, which then resulted in me getting charged $137 for a missing dolly!! Completely ridiculous, getting charged for a missing item that wasn’t even available for me to use EVEN THOUGH I RESERVED IT. Now I have to call multiple different people so I can get my refund. Frustrating.
James EI rented a small van (10') from a Uhaul in Kissimmee. On the 3rd day the check engine light came on. I called the Uhaul office (busy signal). I stopped at the office (office closed). I called another Uhaul office. They gave me the 1800 number. I called the 1800uhaul number. The representative said that I needed to maintain the vehicle Myself and that the check engine light was normal. The rep said that the local office would reimburse me for the maintenance. The check engine light was not normal on this vehicle. I checked the fluids. The coolant was low. I bought coolant with my own money. I gave the receipt to the person at the office when I turned the vehicle in. I was told by the office rep that I would be reimbursed. At first it appeared in my checking account that I may have been reimbursed. However, then it changed to the original charge. I think that Uhaul should reimburse me for the entire amount $146. I was given a vehicle which was not properly maintained and when I tried to find help I was told to maintain the vehicle Myself. Then I was false reimbursed and then charged the original amount. This is unacceptable. Please, help me with this matter. I am accustomed to renting Uhaul vehicles and I would like to continue. This is my first bad experience with renting with your company.

TODD WThe truck had a roach in it crawling on the windshield. I was not able to get onto the online service for pick up online was not able to get key until attendant was in the office. Had to wait for attendant in the office to return the key for a truck, no drop off box or pick up box available attended. They charge me for extra gas that I had already put into the vehicle stating that it was more gas in the truck than it really was and I got charged for it other than that no further issues.
Walter BLocation was very far from where I was at costing me $25.,for excess mileage. Very difficult to find, felt very unsafe.

JAMES MThis location was even worse than the first they guy who was supposed to help me didn’t even understand how to operate the truck he spent 10 minutes trying figure out how to start the truck he didn’t even know how to move the vehicle it was so bad that he didn’t know how to turn the truck off I had to do it for him he had no idea how to help me with my issues told me I had to call the company and talk to customer service and the lady I spoke to was terrible as described before rude unhelpful and seemed to have no customer experience or care she treated my like I was nothing I am so disappointed in this company and if any person can help me figure my situation out it would be appreciated other wise I will never do business with this company again thank you

Giovanni Mit was in a flea market. it was hard to find the place inside. also the office they had was very tiny and it seems like they do more than just uhaul stuff there. this flea market is also always busy on the outside with bouncy houses, food trucks, & car meets. which is all nice to see but nerve wracking to drive theu just to get the huge vehicle. also i would appreciate them to cancel the order if they didnt have the supplies needed, or at least to call before. I requested a dolly & when i got there thats when they told me thag they didnt have it. i was moving a lot of furniture so that wouldve been nice to have but instead had to spend more elsewhere. idk yes i was able to do my move, but the environment/process getting the vehicle was not it.

Susan FAgent couldn’t get my license scanned so told me to go outside and do it in my phone. Took 30 min to get through the paperwork when I went to the truck the battery was dead.

Janet CBrake light was out. We had our pick up location changed 12 hours before pickup. Booked a cart as well but there was no cart for us. Uhaul did not say anything about it to us. Took 10 mins to get the lock undone. Very disappointing

Max HWas not happy that manager of location canceled my reservation because I didn’t show up exactly at 12pm Because of this it screwed the whole reservation because it kept showing as a canceled reservation and wouldn’t allow me to return the vehicle through the website.

LEONARD MHad issues during the self check out progress. When I went into the store I did not recieved the proper help to complete it. "Had to wait for the next day" I was able to check out by calling the customer service.
VICTOR CHave better signage and actually help the customer instead of just sending the customer to check out themselves what if you are elderly and don’t know what to do with self drop off it was just very difficult and time consuming

RAMON CBecause of problems with truck, receipt printed time and departure time was about 45 minutes. The gas level was less than that printed on truck. The cab floor of the rental was dirty. I took pictures. The warning light that the RR tire was low, the office person came and kicked the tires with his toe and said it was okay. I requested a dolly and got to my destination to have no dolly. Upon arrival to location there was no sign to say where the UHaul office was located and upon return, could not find the box for the return key after hours. Took about 45 minutes to find after getting someone inside to show me. Return box is not in a safe place for the length of time to answer survey questions. Unreasonable for renter to do those things due to dangerous location.

MANUEL GThe final charge of the equipment was incorrect. They doubled the days of rental, insurance and mileage. I tried for several days to contact the office, but they didn't answer the phone. I had to contact U Haul customer service for assistance. If you can, choose another location.
Rodrigo AI drop my truck off four hours early and put extra gas in it and cleaned it out and I arrived at the location where I originally picked up the truck no one was there I waited around banging on the door I was told someone was there and they were not I called U-Haul and I was told to check the truck out over my phone I went through the steps and process on your app and I put all my information for the miles Etc at the end I put in my credit card information and I pushed continue and the app started back over to the beginning and wiped out all of my information so happened that I checked my bank account and I saw that U-Haul took the money out of my account but your computer says I did not pay so after calling U-Haul I was told everything was okay and to put the keys in the drop box which I did and I was told that you all did collect the money that was owed before I left the location and 3 days later till this day you all are still trying to collect the money again telling me that nothing was paid and you're charging my elderly aunt which paid for a few days for me as a birthday gift that's getting over covid you're charging her and you're trying to charge me and even calling customer service day after day this is still not resolved I will never do business with U-Haul ever again in life
