The attendant was outside and began checking me in as soon as I parked and assisted with the checkin and checkover process. He was amazing and it was the best part of my experience.

KENT SI don't blame the local provider, he was courteous and helpful. However, I was never asked about the 'safe move' charge of $15.00. Wouldn't my auto insurance coverage provide for this? I wasn't asked nor I was not given an estimate of total charges before I rented the vehicle (other than a lengthy contract online to read after renting). For 2.5 hours of renting the vehicle, 43 miles of use, filling the vehicle's fuel tank afterwards of $20 (how to know exactly how much fuel?), the rental of nearly $100 (plus $20 additional fuel) for a total of $120, seems excessive. Perhaps this is all U-Haul's policy, but customers are not coming close to an advertised $29.95 rental fee. Of course, I expect to replenish fuel, but the total charges are not close without the add-ons.
ALAN WI read some previous negative reviews, however both men who assisted me with check in and check out were wonderful, polite and helpful. Truck was fine...I would absolutely rent here again!

CHARLES WThe people here are always helpful with hooking up and unhooking the trailer. The location is an old service station and is adequate for its purpose. We discovered that the trailer leaked a fair amount of water from the rain I drove through. That was a disappointment as the whole purpose of renting an enclosed trailer was to protect the contents from the elements.

JASON TGreat people, a pleasure to do business with. Equipment was clean and safe to operate. One concern, I reserved a 20’ truck. When I arrived to pick up the truck, they did not have what a reserved so I had to use a 26’ truck instead. A much larger vehicle. If I wasn’t comfortable driving a truck that size, it could have been a safety concern. Perhaps a notification could have been sent to alert me of the change to my reservation in case I would have needed to decide whether to cancel or accept the change. Thank you.

I received a call from U-Haul a day before indicating I would have to go this new location which was 10+ miles away. This seems to be std operating procedure for U-Haul and is not the first time this happened, and the prior time was even farther away. What is the point of picking a close-by, local location, only to be sent miles away?

SARAH NI received numerous texts from uhaul asking to haul items and to upgrade to a bigger truck. It was too many messages and I received more after declining. We were told we couldn't get the small truck we rented well in advance and that we would be given a $60 credit for agreeing to take the larger truck. The credit was never applied. While on our way to our destination, we were called and told our drop off location wasn't accepting drop offs and we had to drive to another one that was not as close.

ROBERT SThis is not where I rented my truck originally. It was further from my destination than the original place I reserved. I was charged a cleaning fee and do not understand why. Very disappointed in wxperience
JOANNE HTrailer was well-used and clearly had many miles on it. It had plenty of superficial blemishes inside and out. Lots of creaks, rattles and groans when being towed. Tires were worn, but did not affect travel at all. Trailer could have used a good power washing inside and out. However, functionally, it worked out great. Liberal use of boxes, cartons and moving blankets to protect and to cover possessions negated any issues with cleanliness.

Richard WI needed a 26 foot box truck in wooster for a day, I was told that there was none available I would have to go to Dalton to pick it up she was hesitant to tell me there was 5 of them in Wadsworth after some questioning she transfer my booking to that location. I get the truck it has a check engine light on and smells of gas and not a straight panel on it I was told not to worry about the light and I leave to find the air-conditioning doesn't work overall not a great experience
