This was a disaster. I had reserved my truck specifically for an 8am pickup to accommodate a major event I was hosting that day. Upon arrival, I checked in on the app as instructed, and was then told I needed to go inside to get the physical key from an associate. The only woman working was unable and unwilling to help me, citing that her manager was the only one who had access to the keys and she could not get a hold of him, or he wasnt' coming in until 11am that day (I'm not exactly sure as she wasn't clear). She also showed no real urgency or understanding in trying to resolve this issue. I ended up contacting Uhaul and having them move my reservation to 11am (which never happened in the app). This was a huge inconvenience for us. If 8am is a viable option for pickup at this location, and I make the reservation several days in advance, there should be no issue with me getting those keys when I indicated. The location itself was also very dirty, sketchy, difficult to maneuver in and out of, etc. There was also a disgusting liquid spilled in the cupholder that no one bothered to clearn up. I will likely need a moving truck again for a similar purpose and will NOT go to this location.

Top 5 worst experiences of my life. Had to wait over 30 minutes to get my U-Haul. Truck was in good condition and drove great. Find a Penske location before this.

The odometer was off 40 miles also the gad was a fourth and the U-Haul was dirty.

The U-Haul was filthy , there was a cereal bowl , with cereal, in the cab of the truck, medication blister pack containing unsued medication under the seat, a broken iPad and cell phone in the door along with broken shattered glass. I returned the U-Haul a day early, and was told there are no refunds for early returns, only charges for if we go over the rental days. The suggestions were to keep it another day and clean it??!

They were so not helpful with me returning my equipment. I had to call U-Haul customer service for help. I will never pick or drop off at this newberry location again if I can help it.

Disappointed in the UHAUL equipment being furnished as requested 12 pads. Only 1 pad provided on location so canceled the order and was refunded. However, we did have padding for move. Moving helpers provided a couple and we left in UHAUL for some else to use. ALSO, NO straps to tie down the dollies in trucks and kept bouncing around. No straps to tie down furniture. This should be provided by UHAUL. Will not use UHaul again unless guaranteed better service.

Male store attendant at this location was extremely rude. I ended up bringing the truck back 45 minutes earlier than booked. 24hrs later after paying they trying to pull additional money off my card.🚩🚩🚩🚩

I scheduled the pick up for 11:30 and it took over 30 minutes to finalize paperwork. Had to talk with the U-haul rep over the phone because he wasn't at the pick up location at the time of my rental.
