Don't switch locations when a reservation is made at the preferred location! It put an extra 10 miles each way and $20+ onto the bill!! Location was in a terrible area ! No receipt was given and when the bill appeared on email it was for 2 days when it was very clear w pictures the truck was back under 24 hrs! Scammed!! Then I was on hold for 1hr 11 minutes waiting to talk to someone about the billing error ( my time is worth $$ like yours)!!! Terrible all around!!jackson T.
I recommend anyone who is forced to find out that their truck is NOT available at their chosen location, call immediately as I was NOT told because of the size of the vehicle I chose, there was nothing anyone could do. Very bad experienceROBIN M.

The van was filthy and I told the agent and they said â€œwe won't charge youâ€ I said â€œof course you are not charging me but I'd like a clean vehicle! They did nothing. Worst U-Haul.REAVES E.
This was a second location. My first location was unable to fulfill my RESERVATION. The young man insisted I did not have a reservation, even when I showed him my paperwork and email confirmation. THE PARKING LOT WAS DIRTY AND FULL OF TRASH AND LARGE GIGANTIC POTHOLES. THE LOT WAS TOO SMALL FOR CONVENIENCE STORE CUSTOMERS AND THE U-HAUL VEHICLE TRUCKS. THEY WERE PARKED HAPHAZARDLY. JUST A SHADY LOOKING PLACE AND THE LOT IS NOT SO WELL LIT AT NIGHT. DOORS AND WINDOWS TO ESTABLISHMENT DIRTY. HAD TO WAIT FOR STORE OWNER TO MAKE SANDWICHES AND CUSTOMERS WANTING LOTTERY TICKETS. THERE WAS NOT A DEDICATED U-HAUL PERSON FOR U-HAUL CUSTOMERS. WITH THAT SAID U-HAUL COMPANY HAS A BRAND AND A SOLID REPUTATION. THE COST AND SAVINGS CAN'T BE BEAT. THE LOCAL LOCATION FOR PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF CONVENIENCE. YOU CAN'T CONVINCE ME THAT THIS GUY CLEANS AND DISENFECTS MUCH LESS INSPECTS THE VEHICLES WHEN THEY ARE RETURNED. NO WAY NOT WITH THE WAY HIS OWN PERSONAL VEHICLE LOOKS AND THE WAY THE STORE AND PROPERTY LOOKS. HE IS IN IT FOR THE $$$ NOT CUSTOMER SAFETY DURING COVID PANDEMIC.ROGER G.

I still enjoy in person customer experience and this location is not for that. It's a one man show convenience store. Pick up your key and go. The can was dirty and the outside and inside. No time to complain I needed the vanJean M.

The entire UHaul experience was completely awful. I am not going to be using it anymore. Every reservation gets messed up and the customer service was absolutely terrible between the corporate number and the scheduling office. The man who helped at my pick up location was the only good part of this transaction. The rest was absolutely awful.SUZANNE O.

The parking lot is full of deep pot holes. When picking up the truck it had last customers garbage still in the cab under the seat. And, the cab was disgustingly dirty. The handle to the window came off in our hands.ANNA S.

The two 6ten clerks were rude, short, and vague in explaining the process. They've yelled, ignored questions, and refused to give me their names. One clerk demanded that I would go out and take photos of the vehicle with my phone. And they snatched my phone touched all over it, and wouldn't allow me a sanitary wipe, in the midst of a pandemic. They also did not wear masks, and they took several customers before settling our business. I will never rent with uhaul again and I will strongly argue against any of my friends and family members who even thinks of renting a u haul. Totally disgusted with the experience.JORGE O.

This place charged my card even though my husband presented his card. They then charged his card 3 times! When I called they stated that it was in the UPS system and nothing they could do. I requested a manager and he said he couldn't get a hold of him and would call back. I think called 3 times and all busy tones. When I called ups they told me that they had refunded my husbands card (the wrong one) and not mine. UPS also couldn't get a hold of the location. My account ended up being overdraft and I had to call and get repaid the overdraft fees from my bank. My husband and I are still waiting for a refund for the incorrect charges.DONALDJAMES JR H.

The website let me book before they were open, but the manager (?) of the store came in early to give me the key! The location is a little rundown (major potholes) and there was someone else's large stroller still left in the truck, which unfortunately I didn't realize until I was packing up my things. Really quick pick up and drop off. Truck was in great condition and had a rear view camera, great if you're not used to driving large cars!Rebekah B.

The man from whom I picked up the truck told me he had never attached a trailer before. Is there no training that people have to go through in order to rent out trailers???? He attached it for me, incorrectly, and a couple miles from the store it fell off in the middle of the street. A nice stranger stopped to help me and reattached it, incorrectly, and it fell off again. I finally attached it myself, found another dealer, and drove terrified to that store to make sure it was hitched properly to my car. My children and I drove across country terrified that we would lose our trailer at any minute because we could no longer trust that an authorized U-Haul dealer attached it correctly.Holly M.
The 10' truck I rented, had a flat right passenger tire, it turns out the tire had a nail in it and the owner wanted me to just put air in it which I refused. I ended up renting a van, which ended up fitting all the stuff I had which was mainly a mattress and box spring (main reason for the 10' truck), originally i would have rented a van locally to me (not travel 40 mins for a 10' truck) since the phone rep indicated it wouldn't fit in the van. Overall, I got done what I needed to get done. No discount was offered for the hassle to travel so far to get a van I could have gotten locally.Piero O.

My only issue was that the pick up location changed and I was never notified. So I went to the place that I booked my reservation with and has an email confirmation from. Terrible experience. Was accused of stealing the spare tire from the van. Yelled at by the people from this location, 6ten convenience store and deli, then charged a cleaning fee for an already dirty vehicle. Never again. Although the man who took the keys, dolly and rental furniture rugs was pleasant and helpful, this location was a filthy, garbage covered dirt parking lot in a sketchy part of town. I almost hesitated to leave this clean, new truck here. The reason we chose this location was its proximity to our NJ location but next time, I'll travel further not to have to see this place again.Joanne B.

Well I paid 175 plus 20 for gas and extra 57 dollars came out to 260 close to 300 dollars that's a little to much 19.99 a day yeah I dont think so.almost 300 dollars that's crazy someone need to look into this I feel like I got ripped off guy says its 28 mile going 28 mile coming back gives me one price then I come back and I'm pay for mile and gas hmmmmmantonio G.
