He gave me a truck that was only in town for my one way trip. This then ended in a 2 HOUR phone call with Uhaul with the guy trying to change the vehicle and whatever else. He was trying really hard to get things done for me, but at the end of the day it wouldn't have taken nearly as long if I got the right truck right away. I was already having issues with the app not letting me do mobile pickup, my pick up location being changed to one that was an hour away (instead of any of the 7ish locations nearby), and the agent on the phone telling me that they couldn't check to see if the right truck would be available in the right location on a different day without losing my reservation entirely. Then, even when I got the right truck, it didnt have the equipment I reserved and the guy there couldn't help me with that either. Fortunately it was easy to get a refund on those items. All around he was nice but clearly not equipped to be doing uhaul rentals.
Alexandra LChanged the location the day before for pickup. Sent us to a gas station with a worker who had no idea what he was doing or what we were talking about with the u-haul. Could not get ahold of anyone at the original location we wanted to pick up at which was an actual u-haul facility with plenty of trucks that we could have used. Could not get ahold of anyone with u-haul to help with the situation. Would not recommend u-haul to my worst enemy.
