The man working at this U-Haul location lied about the gas gauge, when I tried to call him out on it in the initial walk-through he assured me that everything was notated correctly. When I return the truck with the exact same amount of gas in it, he told me that he was charging me for a regassing fee and if I didn't like it I needed proof and photographs. I will recommend to all my friends to never use you all again, and specially this U-Haul as it is ran by a con artist.

I don't know what to say outside of I've always had a problem somehow with every booking, we have always made due with what was offered because I'm not really into making a show but it's never left us happy to have no other choice and it feels like that's why nobody cares to do their job well.

He was late, which added more stress to the move. We were first in line but he insisted on helping someone else who got there after us first, and he wasn’t able to answer my questions about the pricing (confusion over CAD vs USD), so I didn’t even know how much I was being charged until I checked my account.

This was my 7th time using U-Haul since I came to Canada and I should say it was the most confusing one. They made it very hard and confusing. The person who handled my reservation was also sometimes come across as being rude with the way he was talking to me which I did not appreciate at all. I definitely use U-haul and recommend it to friends but not this location.

I've rented twice from this location and both times it's been hassle free. The guy at the counter is friendly and efficient, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this location to anyone.

A 6 hour reservation of the rental van was not enough time for our move, and it was obviously not long enough time for the ones who rented the van before us and returned it late. Taking a later rental upset all of our moving plans. Our helpers could not come later than we had planned for. I think an 8 hour reservation for 15 foot and larger vans should be the minimum expectation. The $50 reservation guarantee did not make up for the inconvenience. My next truck rental will not be with uhaul.

Very small signage (just a piece of paper) showing that it is a UHaul office. Spent about 15 minutes driving the truck around the area looking for the office. Please make a bigger U Haul sign that can be seen from Parsons Road.

The gas tank was lower than on the rental paper I got at the beginning when I started the van. I filled the tank up and they still charged me when it was higher than I got it. I got the pictures to prove

Location to pick up the uhaul was strange and messy but representative was kind and quick. truck was very clean and no issues at all. charges were accurate as well. Would recommend.

Something better has to be done with refueling the U-Haul truck when you receive it a nearly half full. It takes approximately $5 liters more gas to get from nearly half full to half full. For 49.2 Miles (79.2 Km) I added 20.6 liters of gas. Either that is poor mileage at 3.8 Km/L or I just added more fuel then I should have.

The photo idea regarding the mileage and gas level upon a returned vehicle is interesting. However, in my case, it didn’t work as intended because as soon as I turned the key the odometer was relaxed within a few seconds with an alert that an oil change was needed soon. When taking a photo of the odometer before it disappears the gas gauge had not yet reached its true level and when I waited for that to happen the odometer was no longer visible.

The staff were great but the truck had major issues. I took a video and pictures of leaking fluid from the front. The truck stalled out twice while driving, and the heat didn't work at all (on a -20 day it really sucks). I wasn't happy with this rental.

Uhaul now has individual agents operating out of other businesses and these individuals are total ripoffs. Once they have your credit card information they tend to add on charges, like even after you fuel up the rentals they still charge you.

I will acknowledge the equipment we wanted was available at the time and place we made the appointment. The location was difficult to find. would not have done it without Google map. The office was not very appealing. The agent did not take us to the truck. It was a cold day so he just pointed us to the vehicle.

Both gentlemen (one for truck pick up, the other for return) were remarkably polite and personable. Each knew their job well and completed our transactions quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this particular location. Far better than the other locations nearby that I have dealt with (... including the one on 51 Ave and 95 St.) These gentlemen were fantastic! Thank you to both of them for making this experience so wonderful!

Seeing that the location has moved from 786 Foods the website needs to changed accordingly. The employees are knowledgeable and very friendly. Easy pick-up and drop off and the price was very reasonable. Thanks for the great rental.

The equipment was very clean , however, it had all season tires rather than the proper winter rated tires and got stuck trying to get out of the parking place. Edmonton gets a lot of snow and icy roads this time of year and regular all season tires are dangerous to be driving with in winter conditions.

I'm an avid reviews reader before I rent/buy anything and understand sometimes there are complaints due to personalities, etc, my complaint is definitely due total on safety. Please beware of renting from this location. Office has no signage - difficult to find. Extremely unfriendly service - in a rush, pushy, does not do thorough vehicle checks with you. Anxious to move on to next person. U-haul truck I was given had 4 low/near flat tires which didn't become apparent until the contents of our apartment was loaded. When I brought the unit back, U-haul personnel blamed me for flattening the 4 tires. I have had great experiences with u-haul in the past, but absolutely will not ever rent from them again, especially NOT from this location.

Make sure you give the user all info and most importantly I reserved a truck in leduc and they send me to Edmonton charge me mileage and complained to me that if I didn't shut my mouth he was going to have a bad day the agent working on Sunday nov 18.when there are several agents in leduc to rent trucks. I will never use uhaul again due to the poor customer service the use of supply's and did not credit me the 1/4 tank of extra gas about $20 worth and the unsealed blankets that I did not use.

The guy was very unclear about pricing. Original bill was $141 when we were just using it for the day. Did not give any reason as to this or how this was calculated. Receipt was confusing. Very unprofessional.

No store signage. Poor organization. Staff came in late and had trouble disarming the alarm. Along with asking redundant questions for answers already given online at the time of booking, it resulted in us losing 25 min at the start of our rental time, yet we were expected to bring the van back at the same time. Fortunately we Finished with the van early and was able to return it with time to spare.

First of all U-Haul totally disappointed me asa customer. I rented a 20 feet moving truck and got guaranteed for the day i needed it and got a confirmation. few hours later a customer rep called me saying that they have to move my pickup location as my chosen pick up location did not have the vehicle i needed. therefore i called the given number to confirm my booking and reservation , everything went well on the phone. a week later Uhaul personel called me saying that they have cancelled my reservation without me knowinng about it and telling me there is no truck that they could give me. she hanged up on the phone without even resolving the issue and booking me for any other vehicle that i could use. i had to use more of my time to call another u haul location to try and book a vehicle, and all i was left with was a cargo van. which is far from what i need. this inconvenience caused me another day of absence at work because we had to make numerous amount of trips to be able to move a 4 bedroom house. instead of moving everything all at once with the 20 feet vehicle i originally booked. not a single compensation was made not even a free milage or dollies. this is the worst experience of UHaul service that i hve ever had.

He didn't tell me I had to pay mileage ?!? and I refilled the gas tank too! Plus the signage is very small that it was hard to find the location, it took a few drivebys. Then walking into the liquor/food store the incense was burning so much that people with allergies couldn't breathe. And he was yelling at me plus he hung up on me earlier when I was asking for directions. I am thoroughly not impressed and i have used u-haul before but never this location ever again.

The 20 foot Truck I was given was the cleanest and newest Uhaul I have ever rented out of atleast a dozen in past years, big koodos on that. A preauth for 200 Mile for a two day rental without asking if that was the approximate intended usage. For me it wasn't an issue however if you are not one to enjoy several hundred extra in preauth on your card you should be aware.

The truck was not ready for my pre-booked pick up date and time. I was not informed of this until 30 minutes before pickup time. The staff and Uhaul customer service were indifferent about it and I was not offered any discount or compensation. They offered me a "free upgrade" the day after. This did not help me as I did not require a larger truck.

Tried to steal from us. Had booked the rental for 24 hours, however we were then told that we had to return the same day and would be charged a significant large fee for not returning same day, as it was rebooked. After confirming on our contract indeed it was next day we contacted the site and advised as such. Very rude and not recommended.

I did the mobile pick up but when I went in to the store, it was a bit chaotic. Surprising they would pick a convenience store in a very sketchy stop mall as a dealer. But it was close to y house and I didn't have to wait in any crazy long lines to get the truck. Everything was in order.
