I liked everything is mobile. But i booked for furniture dolly. They didn't have it. They said they don't guarantee. I get it. At least inform me before hand. Otherwise i wouldn't had to waste the time and km charged on the truck. Got charged for over night fee. I should have reserved to the main location which was 5 min away. 51 ave location was much nicer and had the dolly i needed

Seemed very unorganized and confusing when you arrive. Did not get the dolly that I had on my online order and person texting me wasn't even using full words or sentences to talk to me. Seems a bit unprofessional and not sure I'll use Uhaul again honestly. The mobile drop off was easy to follow though when returning the truck.

I will always suggest to anyone to avoid neighbourhood dealers. Their hours of operation are wanky. There is no place to wait while the dealer gets things prepared. There are no furniture dollies or other things to help with the move. The truck tank was not full when I received it yet I was told it had to be full when it was returned and it was. It was highly impersonal all in all a horrible experience.

The online reservation program was laborious. I had to scan the front and back of my driver's license twice - upon making the reservation and when I was picking up the vehicle. Then, I had to give a contact name "just-in-case" at the pickup time. Finally, the keys were not where indicated on the reservation. We had to phone UHaul who then transferred us to a local number. The keys were supposed to be in a box at the back of the truck we rented. When we spoke to the local person, we were informed that the key was in a van parked nearby, at the back of the driver's seat!!! Very frustrating to say the least. Other than that, we were satisfied with the vehicle and the final price charged which was accurate.

Uhaul vehicle is old, engine is having a really hard time when gas is pumped in. Online pick up is a pain in d ass to be honest. Instead of making it faster. It took 30 mins to get the uhaul key.

Apparently reserving a Furniture dolly doesn't mean very much at all. The guy I talked to just repeated that dolly reservations aren't guaranteed well now I had to go find another one using your vehicle for distance and that was really frustrating. Also he tried to sell me more insurance after I already knew what I had paid for online. The pictures on the website showed a practically brand new truck, where are the one I had had scrapes all the way down the side on the passenger side.

The gentleman I spoke with was very rude to me and both my parents. Oh the door it says to phone specific number which did the first time it rang no one picked up so I called again, when he answered the phone I mentioned I'm here to pick up a 10” truck he said we are closed do you have a mobile pick up, I answered yes but just want reassurance as to how to do it. He then replied “well how do you expect to pick up your truck if you don't know how to use it” that was so rude and unprofessional, if someone doesn't like the job they are doing they should find something else. When someone called and asks for assistance they should be respected and not talked to like an idiot. When I put my parents down as an alternate contact he was very rude to my dad when my father asked him to repeat the worker basically gave up and ended the call. This was the first time I've ever rented a Uhaul truck and wasn't a good first impression.

The truck I rented was clean except the front windshield and it was quite cracked as well. There wasn't any washer fluid. Not sure if I'd rent from this location again as it was quite strange. Still waiting for the charges to change to what I really owe not what was estimated. The oil change required light was on the whole time.

Poor customer service. Waited outside for 10 minutes, although it doesn't seem long, it's very odd that there isn't an office to go into. Got back to return truck and there was no parking. The agent there told me to park it on the road, across the street. What would have happened if someone hit the truck.... this all happened during business hours. The agent was very poor. Would never use this location again, Google will have my review.

The entrance several homemade signs, it was confusing. I followed the instructions to wait outside and call for service but then I had to wait while they processed another customer first who ignored the signage and just walked right in. It was my first time booking with u-haul so I thought it would be best to handle everything at customer service but then I had to use the app to process everything myself. Would be nice if they provided wifi for all the image uploads.

I'm really not that happy about it actually. I was going to be a little late picking up the Pickup Truck. I emailed to say I would be there about half hour after I was scheduled. When I arrived there were people standing at a back door saying that they couldn't get in, there was a note on the door with a number to call but it just went to someone's personal phone and it was just a recording saying leave a message. More people start to show up. There is one guy working and he pokes his head out and says systems are slow and we have to wait. About 20 mins later my phone rings and it's the guy who's number is on the door. I assume it's someone from Uhaul and that he was inside but I'm not sure. Anyways he says are you going to buy insurance? I say sure and he says they will bring the keys out when my charges have been authorized. 15 mins later a guy comes out and gives me the keys, he explains the regular truck stuff like replacing the gas and make sure it's clean,,,he gives me the keys and I leave. No paperwork, no vehicle insurance or registration papers,,,nothing but the keys. I take the vehicle back at the scheduled time and was instructed to take a picture, another picture of the odometer and text it to the number on the door. I had to do this before I left as well, I also take a picture of the truck parked where they told me and the gas receipt. I send all of this to the number I was told and then half hour or so I send another text saying I need a receipt. The number has not responded to me. I have to wonder what kind of business this is that doesn't provide any documentation for anything. So I still have no idea what I've been charged, I put 35 KM on the truck and it was cleaner than when I picked it up at drop off but there was no one there to see it or finalize the charges. This is not sitting well with me. Everyone know that Covid is here to stay and we have to find ways to work around it, including making ourselves less vunerable, you can't not provide documentation for something like a rental, or receipts and just charge whatever you want and not disclose what the charges are ? The lady on the phone went over the charges with me so I know approx what they should be but I've actually seen nothing yet from Uhaul. If I didn't do as I was supposed to as a customer then I get charged for it, well what about your end of the deal? If I was pulled over by Police for something well now I would be scrambling because you gave me no paperwork. This is just all around very poor customer service.

There was very bad smell inside the van. It was smelling something like some shit of an animal. We had to keep the windows open all the time to get off the smell. Also Air-conditioning was not working. It was a hot day and no cold air coming from the Vents. Very very poor service. And moreover I am being charged 99$ for this rental, and the receipt they send me on email is of 56$. Fraud people out there

The owner/manager was pleasant to work with and provided clear communication and directions. However, when I went to return the vehicle, one of his workers was overzealous with cleaning and sprayed my hands with Lysol as I was handing the key over. Not great customer service in that regard.

Employee tried to pull the two card scam on me. Basically claim the charge wouldn't go through on my supplied card and could they apply the charge to a second card hoping I wouldn't notice there double charge. Mysteriously when I said I wouldn't supply a second card and would be confirming with my bank suddenly the charge went through fine. Utterly untrustworthy.

Nothing major but the truck had some minor damage, plus the Tire Pressure Sensor warning was on. My biggest complaint was the repeated pressure to purchase insurance.

Worst customer service ever!!!!!! First of all, don't look for a Food Store because it's a numbered company with an entrance in the back of a building, but you can't even enter from there this person conducts all his business by phone. It was pouring rain and he left me standing there while he "checked things". I had already checked in online. Finally he appeared with the key. I never received my contract until after I had already returned the cargo van. He wants you to send photos by text message. When I returned it I called the number to tell him the mileage and I asked him if he was going to come and inspect the van, he said "No, I'm at home". What a way to run a business! Two thumbs down on this operation.

The location is VERY hard to find (no signage) and the truck was not at our originally BOOKED location We had to travel to the opposite corner of Edmonton to pick up a truck. ended up being 2 hours behind schedule. We booked everything on line and then were told that we were not getting the blankets we wanted - we could go to another location to pick up blankets - WE WERE ALREADY 2 HOURS BEHIND and had driven across the city to pick up this truck.. We had to re-give our credit card information when we already did that on line. The location was extremely poorly signed. It seems like reserving a vehicle AT A SPECIFIC LOCATION is useless because when you go to get the location they just send you all over the city to get a truck that may or may not be at another site. We originally booked 1 site, phone call said to go to the second site and then we were sent to the opposite corner of the city. This was not our first bad experience with UHAUL. I will never rent from you again and will discourage everyone I talk to from renting from you.

Unlike other locations where you can still go to see someone in person, the attendant here was trying to manage everything on the phone while I stood outside his office wearing my PPE. Moreover, he dropped calls multiple times and said it was a glitch in the system. Worst of all, the key did not work properly inside the ignistion. Apparently, he was aware of the issue and asked me to slide the key in & out multiple times to get the truck started. Equipment like this should never be signed out as I had the same issue every time I had to start the truck.

This was not a typical Uhaul experience. The owner at this location this very dismissive and lacks customer service EXTREMELY. I would never use this location again. I not sure I would even recommend there. I DID NOT FEEL LIKE MY SERVICE WAS VALUED.

This location does not use all aspects of the online tool. The online tool is very good and self explainatory. Picture of truck location was not accurate, we found it on the street rather than in the parking area. Pick up key box was not available, an attendant was on site to provide key.

The rental associate wasn't very good. I've done lots of uhaul rentals without issue. I was late (who is on time for moving ?) And he called and texted me asking if I was coming and wanted to cancel (I was driving there!). Then I needed to go through the same motions as my online reservation. What's the point to make it online? Then demanded more phone numbers and if I wanted collision waiver (hello.. online rental?? I put it on there! Why not look it up??). It added stress and frustration to an already stressful day. I think it would be better to rent directly from Uhaul. I ended up doing online check in after he gave us keys just so I wouldn't have to talk to him. But revieved multiple multiple texts about texting the mileage. Not impressed.

Ensure the location itself at 3402 Parsons Rd is accurately recoded with UHaul.com. When trying to pick up using mobile pickup UHaul thinks we are 1.8 kms away when we are standing at the door. Really wish we could review UHaul itself and not just the locations. UHaul rental system is a nightmare. Rented trucks 3 times in the last two weeks. Every time the process has created problems. One time was at a UHaul store desk being served and it took 50 minutes to get through the problems (down to one system server at corporate).
